Chapter 8

Ringgggggggggggggg...the alarm disturbs my not so peaceful sleep.

I stand up and bump into my wardrobe. I guess, I forgot I'm no longer in my father's house.
My phone starts to sing melodiously and I run to pick up the call.
"Hello."
The caller doesn't reply. I check my phone to see the caller and see it's Alex and I quickly drop my phone and quickly adjust my hair and clothes.

"Like he can see you."Gabrielle snickers.

Gabrielle is my subconscious don't mind me.

"I see this is just a waste of time."

"No wait, I'm sorry. Good morning."

" My morning is not good since I started it by calling you first in the morning."

"Say what you have to say or I will disconnect this call." I hissed in response.

" You wouldn't dare. Not like I have anything to say to you but I saw your text yesterday and I will see you at 6pm. And before I forget don't you ever text me or even make an attempt to call m without a tangible reason."  He disconnected the call before I can even reply him.

Wow my engagement ring is not a tangible reason. I'm just going to forget what he said.
Wait I didn't ask if he was picking me or not. I pick my phone to call him.

" He said you shouldn't call him without a tangible reason. Gabrielle warns me.

"Oh shut up." I feel crazy.

"Of course you are crazy."

I pick my phone and call him and he picks the call at the first ring.

"What did I say about calling me? It seems while you were opening your legs to different men your brain must have fallen off."

Prick.
" I don't care what you think about me and I'm pretty sure my brain is safely tucked in my head. I called to ask to know if you are the one that is going to pick me."

"Now now we don't want your sluttiness to destroy my car." He laughs sadistically.

What's up with him and calling me a slut.

"Ignore him"

"What type of couple would we be meeting each other separately where I'm getting my engagement ring?"

" Ohhh that's true. Stay at Brimstone street. I  send my driver to pick you up so we will meet each other there." He didn't disagree when I called us a couple. My heart just did backflip.

"Okay whatever you say."

"Get off my damn phone now."
I disconnect the call immediately.

Did that hurt me?
No it didn't.
Why? you may ask.
I guess I've had a lot of people act like this to me in my life that it has become something normal in my life.

Pheww what a good way to start your morning I tell y'all.

I walk into the bathroom,do my business and get out. I really need to get to work early. Yh you heard that right. Work where my father traded me like we are still in the 90's. But I can't just stop working. The fact my  father is my boss doesn't mean I won't go to work. I worked for years to get my position and now that I'm there I won't just act recklessly and tamper with my career.

I pick my outfit and dress up. I pack my hair into a chignon bun because today is my father's company 20th anniversary and I'm sure Nina will tell my Dad to celebrate it in a grand way.

I already put my gown and heels in my spare bag in case of any surprise.

Someone knocks at the door and I run to check through the peephole and it's Alissa. I open the door and Alissa jumps into the nearest couch literally she pounces on it like her life depends on it.

"Good morning Ally."

"Good morning. I'm in need of sleep because apparently someone,"she turns to glare at me"said something that made Cole scream like a Barbie bitch who misplaced her eyeliner and I couldn't sleep after that."

"Really you couldn't sleep because of that." I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

"Shut up!! anyways where are you going looking like the last meal on the table. Damn I want some of that."

And she does the least expected thing she slaps my ass. Can you guess what happened next. Yes you got it right, I blushed into fifty shades of  red.

"I'm going to work you pervert."

"Wait work,"she cocks her eyebrow at me.

"Yh work." I angled my neck at her.

" Wow you've got some balls going back to that place. Whatever, did you know today is your father's company anniversary?"

"Yh I know."

" And you also know there is a party at 7:00pm hosted by your bitch of a stepmom."

"I didn't know but I had a hunch she would want to celebrate it in a grand way. Are you coming?"

"Yh. Did you really have to ask me that?"

That's Alissa for you she never misses am opportunity to go to a party.

I check my phone to check my time and I'm 10 minute late.
"Shit I'm late and I still need to find a cab."

"Language young lady." Ally scolds before she bursts out in laughter.

"Ally I'm late and you are here laughing."

"Here take these and it would be easiest for you to get to work."She tossed her car keys at me.

"What the?? Seriously you will let me drive a car, you don't think I'm suicidal." I start tearing up.

"Yup. Now go I need to sleep and I will see you at 7:00pm."

"Thank you so much."I hugged her.

"You're welcome. Get your ass on the way now."

Okay.

I run into the car and put in the key. I pull the gear and drive. (I don't know shit about driving.)

I'm feeling so escalated I can go to Nina and shove my middle finger in her face and run her over just exaggerating. I can never run anyone over. Not even my enemy. But I don't even have the balls to shove the finger at her but you would be the first to know when I have the balls. Okurrr.(Any cardi fan here.🙋🙋)

I drive into the parking lot and park my car. I take my bag and walk out.

Holla cookies. Sorry for the late update, I wanted to drop the update during the weekend but I fell a little ill but I'm good now. Thanks for asking 🙈🙈🙈🙈. I never really thought I would update today because the original copy got deleted but there is nothing a juice wrld playlist can't do. Just open it and listen to it and boom you got your update. Alex is a dick, Yes or Yes.
Like I said in one of the chapters I don't have an updating schedule, and I'm really busy with online classes so don't be annoyed. And I need to point something out. Nobody is above mistake. Why would you DM saying I need to delete my story whatever 😒😒. Nobody can bring me down,I'm not a perfectionist and this story is something I wrote out of boredom so don't expect perfection and if you think you are better than this then get your crazy ass away from here. I hate people who bring people down. I don't really appreciate if you need to complain say it politely. Okurr.
Have y'all seen Cardi B's WAP. OMG Cardi is a queen. Am I right or right.
