The Arrangement(ON HOLD)

Chapter 11

"Ally you should check the result."

She walks towards it slowly and carefully picks it up,she then puts her other hand to cover her eyes,she points the result at my direction.

"Check it for me Lila. I'm scared."

"Let's both check it."

"No you check it please."

Her pleas sounded so touching, I decide to take the result from her fingers. I scrunched my eyes to check it because it looks so blurry.

"Ally what does a minus mean?"

She quickly takes her hands off her eyes and smiles.

"It means I'm not pregnant. Oh my God I'm gonna get so drunk that my whole veins will be filled with alcohol."

"So a plus means you are pregnant."

Her smile falls and she starts blinking continuously to stop the tears from running down her face.

"What does the result say? I don't understand what you are saying. Does it show a minus or a plus? Please talk."

"It is a plus sign."

"Oh my God I'm pregnant. I'm not ready for this. I'm not ready for a child. I was expecting a minus sign I can't even feel the child..."

"I don't think it works like that Ally."

Sh quickly falls to her butt and start crying. Ally hardly ever cries. I have known her for 6 years and she has cried only once in her life and that's when her mum died.

"Ally stop crying,you're messing your make-up."

I'm so sorry that sounded inconsiderate but that's the only thing that can stop her from crying.

"Ally stop crying."

I place her face on my chest and starts rubbing her back.

"I don't know how to care for a child I find it disgusting when they barf, I hate it when they poop and I hate their cries the most. When I hate all this about kids how do you expect love my own child? I don't want to ignore my child and avoid my child at all cost,I don't want to be my own mother, I don't want my child to turn out like me look at me what adult love me? Whenever Cole's dad sees me he glares at me like he wants to kill me because I apparently turned Cole away from him. My own grandma cut all ties with me because I don't act like a normal person and she is right. I hate myself so much. I'm the most reckless person in the world, how do you expect me to take care of a child. I failed my  baby project in college. My mum also told me never to have kids or they ruin your life. I don't know shit about kids. The slightest sound from children makes me want to kill myself. All of this my sound stupid but you understand what I'm saying right? Tell me you do Lila please."

Wow I did not expect that from Ally.

" I understand. Ally now stop crying you will go for therapy if it's needed. Stop crying please I don't like seeing you like this. I will talk to Cole about this and why would you ignore your own child? It's not something you will do. You will love your child I'm sure of that."

If you can notice I'm pretty bad at this.

"What's the time Lila?"

Ally sniffed.

"It is past 6 but I'm sure we can make it there on time."

"Oh my God we are late. Let me just retouch my makeup and we can go."

"Ally let's talk about this." I know what she is doing, she is trying to avoid the topic because of I mentioned therapy.

"We can talk about me later. Let's go or else lover boy might think you eloped with someone else. That bastard thinks so less of you. Chop chop let's go."
