               Lila's POV

As soon as I got down from my car sorry Ally's car. I walked into Grey and Co. Walking into the building I was imagining how the anniversary would go and I also thought of my dad's reaction when he sees me today.

His reaction would be like holy fuck did she walk into the wrong building. Hehe.

"Good morning Lila."A co-worker greets.

"Good morning Chantelle. How are the preparations for the anniversary going?"

"They are going well, except for the fact that your step mom threatened to fire me if I don't tell her about your whereabouts. By the way where are you staying?"

"Somewhere you don't know that's for sure"Gabrielle retorted.

"I'm staying with a friend and I'm really loving it there."

"Okay but I'll love it if you tell me more about this friend."

"She is not someone you know that's all I can say and thanks for worrying about me but I'm okay."

I walked away and go straight to my office.

So here's the deal with Chantelle,she has a crush on me.

"More like obsessed" Gabrielle is a bitch don't mind her.

It's official I'm crazy.

You heard that right,she is a lesbian and she is so overprotective and she has this stupid idea that I might also be a lesbian because she has never seen me with a guy before. Funny right.

She once tried to kiss me at a party,thanks to Ally for punching her nose on my behalf. Last year's Valentine she asked me on a date but I told her I don't celebrate Valentines,so I'm staying home and do you know what she said?

She said and I quote
"What's a better way spending Valentines than being wrapped up in sheets naked?"

And what do you think I did? I bolted off. After all this she is still trying to "shoot her shot". Only if the guys in my life were like that. Ohh that's true there's no guy in my life.

I walked into my office, dropped my bag and started working......

After I was done with my work, I checked the time and realised it was time for my lunch break. I decided to call Cole hoping he would pick up my call and on the third ring he does.

"Good afternoon Lila."

"Good afternoon,how are you?"

"I'm good apart from the fact my best friend is keeping secrets from me."

I rubbed my fingers on my temple because an headache is developing.

"Cole I promise to tell you everything at the right time, please understand me, you know I'm not like this..."

"Exactly Lila that's what I'm trying to say, you were never like this so why did you change?Or do you have a sugar daddy?"
