The Arrangement(ON HOLD)

Chapter 12

Ally and I walk out the restroom and walk to the hall. We have an hall in the building that's why we are using it.

"Lila darling. Where have you been?"

"Good evening Nina. You look beautiful."

She looks beautiful truly,she is wearing a long evening silver turqoiuse dress, she has her hair in a chignon bun and her jeweleries are no exception also.

"You look beautiful also my dear but I need to know where my daughter has been."

"Step daughter." I correct her.

"Yes you are her step mom right."

Let's not forget Ally who is here decides speaks on my behalf.

"Alissa I would appreciate it if you could give me some private time with Lila."

"No I'm not leaving her alone while you tell her why she should come back to your house."

"I was not going to say that but please give us five minutes that's all I need to tell her what I want to."

Nina is not being a bitch tonight. May this night end well hopefully.

"Okay whatever I guess I can kick Cole's ass while you do your thing."

"Thank you."

"Lila you shouldn't have left the house the way you did...."

"What way did I leave the house? Do I need your permission to leave the house because you are not my mother and I don't think my dad is complaining."

"Lila I know you hate me but your father and I want the best for you and your sister...."

"You both want the best for me.. my dad sold me off to Alexander because he wants to secure his company's future not only did he sell me off but he also did not trust me with his company , why does he need to secure the company because I'm pretty sure there is nothing to secure and you are standing spitting out shit about how I left the house like you are not happy I left." I spat out bitterly.

"Lila.." she moves closer to me.

I put my hand out to tell her not to move closer to me.

"Don't come close to me."

"I don't know how you got the idea I hate you and want you to leave the house ;you are like my daughter. I understand you are pissed but don't say things you don't mean. I just came here to clear things out with you, your dad might not say it but he misses you and he loves you. He was unable to sleep yesterday. He is worried about you."

"You are only saying that because you want me to come back home and I'm not going to come home no matter what happens."

"He had a seizure this morning."

"What?" My voice cracked

" Your dad didn't tell you."

"Didn't tell me what?" I glared at Nina.

"That he is..."

"There you are. Nina you said you needed five minutes and it's been more than that so I'm taking Lila away from you. Byeyeeee."

Ally pulls me from where I am and we both walk to a table and sit down.

"So what did Nina tell you?"

I don't want to tell Ally what she said or she will make a big deal out of it.

"She asked about Alexander."

"Call him Alex and not Alexander
Why do you waste your two or is it three seconds on him?"

"Nothing Alissa."
