Putangina.

This is something. Really fucking something. Hell, I don't even know why I followed him. But then, Sage— I don't really want to say it, but I feel like I need to explain myself to him why Prince Cayden was in my room. I hate the ghastly feeling welling up inside me. That every time I try to put my attention on the training, I can't seem to grasp the idea of Sage thinking that I slept with the crown prince— eh, totoo naman talaga. But still.

I never would have thought that following Sage would lead me straight to hell. Goddamn. Sage and demons. That wasn't what I expected it'd turn out to be.

Demon instincts is on another level, and that is one thing I do not want to pry on. Halos hindi na ako gumalaw sa tinataguan kong puno kung saan naka yuko ako sa isa sa mga sanga nito— leaves covering me, and I'm high enough that they wouldn't notice me right away.

And here I am. Kneeling. Bowing so low in front of the demon prince that is so scarily handsome and beautiful and goddamn hot I thin—- he throws a dagger on the back of my hand, sticking it onto the dirty soil. It took all of my will to suppress a whimper of pain that bolt up straight to my brain.

This is a demon.

A demon prince.

Our high ruler.

We cannot disappoint them.

The only evidence of my pain is the strain in my muscles, the stiffness of my body, and the clenching of my jaw. Muntikan na akong mapamura sa sakit.

"Hades"

Ignoring the searing pain electrifying my body. Unless if you deem yourself worthy of his eye contact, or if you think you can equally duel him in a one on one battle, you may have the privilege of looking straight into his eyes. I placed my eyes on his chin.

"Your highness" and I'm glad my voice is still neutral. Erased from any emotion.

In some parts of my vision, I can point out a kid, another hot demon, and Sage.

"Look at me"

Ha?

"I want you to look at me in the eyes"

And I did.

Straight into those bloody eyes of his. I settled my own to his.

Goodness.

The demon prince was the most handsome and the most beautiful male I've laid my eyes on. He was tall. Very tall. His thick raven hair complimented the shape of his strong face— such defined features I find myself fascinated. His red eyes glinted brightly against the sunlight. I didn't know that eyes could be so full of emotion and at the same time, so dead. The color only giving it life. Muscles in the right places. Sculpted and hardened and oh, his body figure was one of the best. From his broad shoulders down to his narrowed waist. The demon prince was wearing a black dress shirt—sleeves rolled up until the elbows—tucked inside his black trousers. Bukas ang tatlo butones ng kanyang pang-itaas at may suot suot pa itong.... something like a harness around his body.
