45: Stopover

Prince Tiberius is a brown dragon with large, and I mean large large wings. Four-legged dragon with the sharpest talons I've ever seen in my whole life. Not that I've seen enough dragons to compare. Siya pa lang ang unang dragon na nakita ko. But from its dreadful and terrifying look, it's fair enough to say that his talons are not to be underestimated for. His brown scales look so rough and sharp in all parts. His tail is so long and spiky, one swift can literally send you flying. Two massive horns that twirled down his intimidating face. And right now, we are already in the sky. The wind was so harsh against our faces, Cayden needed to use his ability to protect us from the wind pressure.

Isiningkit ko ang aking mga mata sa harapan. Sinusubukan tignan ang unahan kahit wala na talaga akong makita kundi ulap at langit. Nakatayo lamang ako at nakahalukipkip. The other witches are busy in their own worlds. Some are sleeping, some are sitting down. Sage ang Cayden are conversing with each other. The latter is still trying to get ahold of the wind while speaking.

"Apple?" Niyakap ng isa niyang kamay ang aking bewang mula sa likod. Nilahad niya saakin ang mansanas bago ako hinalikan sa pisngi. "Tatlong oras pa bago tayo tuluyan makarating sa Severus"

I accepted the apple and quickly took a bite, "Ilang oras na tayo nandito sa ere?"

"An hour? If we had used horses, it would have taken months to reach Severus. Maybe a year even. With no stopovers, that is"

"We're going that fast?" I ask, quite shocked. We're gonna cross 6 Kingdoms to reach Severus, and each kingdom is massive enough to travel around.

"Cayden's good with his magic. The air feels just okay, yes?"

"Better" I cast a quick glance over Sage's shoulders to get a view of Cayden. "Hindi ba siya napapagod?"

"Draining. Very. But he knows what he's doing"

"Prince Tiberius is huge, huh? To be able to cross lands with this.." I gestured with my hands, "Must be nice to be a dragon"

Sage slides his hand up to my shoulder, laughing a bit at my commentary. "Hulaan mo kung saan tayo mag sto-stop over?"

Kumunot noo ko. "May stopover na mangyayare?"

Magsasalita na sana si Sage ng may mag-ingay sa bandang gilid namin. Sabay namin itong nilingon at nakita sina Ryon at Ophelia na nag-aaway sa isang mansanas.
