31: Feelings

Five sa umaga umalis na ako kaagad sa kwarto ni Sage. He wasn't joking around when he told me I could sleep beside him last night. I was too preoccupied with the eerie voice that screamed inside my head that I didn't care about anything in particular at all. Gusto ko lang umalis sa kwarto ko non.

And his arms were around me when I woke up. I couldn't take it. Hiningi ko iyon kagabi. Alam ko. But my past choices are temporary. I don't want his so-called hug anymore the next day.

Sage is warming to sleep beside with. His embrace is really comfortable that it irritates me. Sinakop nanaman ako ng aking pride kaya umalis kaagad ako kahit gustong gusto ko pang sumiksik sa dibdib niya.

"Ilang kutsilyo kaya mong ibato ng sabay sabay?"

Nang hindi nililingon si Pandora, sinagot ko siya. "Dalawa sa bawat kamay"

"Si Zarax tatlo"

Hinagis niya saakin ang apat na kutsilyo na agad ko naman sinalo ng walang kahirap hirap.

I didn't mind her comment about Zarax. I seriously don't care if she's better with the daggers than me. Ang pinoproblema ko lang ngayon ay—-

"Ias is so fucking hot. Ano, Sahar naka score kaba sa date niyo?"

I throw the daggers straight to the target board. Fast. Swift. Pandora's words unexpectedly triggered me I made sure the daggers I have thrown would form a vertical straight line when they hit the board. And it did.

Si Piper na nagbubuhat ng weights sa 'di kalayuan sa pwesto namin ni Pandora ay biglang tumigil para lamang pumalakpak sa ginawa ko.

Wala sa oras akong lumingon sa gawi nina Cayden at Sage— usually, it would be the crown prince and the second prince who would be monitoring the training, or di kaya ang unang prinsipe lang. The king only appears when it's an important training session.

Sage never watches. But look at him now. He's having a conversation with the crown prince. Both of them crossing their arms over their broad chests. Both look hot and manly and beautiful and god-like and handsome it hurts my eyes.

Binaling ko na uli ang atensyon ko sa target board para hindi nila ako mahuling nakatingin sakanila.

"Hindi kami nag date" walang emosyon kong sagot kay Pandora na naka ngisi ngayon ng pilyo saakin.

Malakas na tinapon ni Pandora ang kanyang kutsilyo sa target board habang natatawa pa.

"Sabihin na natin na hindi nga kayo nag date, pero may nangyare ba? I can smell his scent on you"

Well shit.

I didn't take a bath this morning.

Well shit.

"Nagyakapan lang" sagot ko. Wala paring gana.

I was about to get my daggers on the board when Zarax appeared and snatched it for me. Taas noo nitong binato saakin ang mga kutsilyo.

Directing my gaze straight into her eyes, I catch the knives without looking away. Ungrateful for her sudden presence near me.

"Looks like someone's catching feelings for a mortal" chin up and unfazed, Zarax walks her way near us. "Was the sex that good?"

I tilted my head. A crooked smirk crawling on my face. Inikot ikot ko ang dalawang kutsilyo sa kamay ko.

"Hindi ko masasagot 'yan kung si Prince Cayden lang naman ang natikman ko"

Pandora gasps. Zarax's face falls grim. The whole coven stops short even though they were busy doing their own trainings, and yet they seemed to hear what came out of my mouth.
