38: Another Language

The tender brush on my hair and the soft lips placed on my forehead is the reason why I suddenly wake up from a heavy sleep. I've been exposed to this kind of position ever since— Sage's arms around me, him brushing my hair, him kissing my forehead or the top of my head, him just staring at my sleeping state, his eyes drunk-like— It's been weeks, and this is how I wake up every day now.

It's pity to say that I'm liking it. Some other times, I wake up with my clothes on beside him. Most of the time, I am naked under the sheets. I prefer the no-clothes setup, the heat is always as tempting as ever.

Tuluyan ko ng binuksan ang aking mga mata para tignan si Sage. Icy blue eyes immediately locked with my pink orbs.

"It's 7 in the morning" panimula niya. Of course, the bedroom voice is there. Making it harder for me to control myself again.

We've been... making love almost every day. To my happiness, we've been doing it multiple times a day. We never did a round— never a one round. Hindi ko naman kasi aakalain na magiging matakaw ako sa mga halik at hawak niya. He told me I should take it easy but I'm not doing that.

I never would've thought that the forging of bodies is this great when you're doing it with someone you like. 58 years and I cannot believe I waited this long to feel so alive and pleasured. It's exhilarating. Breathtaking even.

Fourth day of our relationship when Sage opened up the topic of my food and the palace's meals. I am an independent witch, but it feels nice to depend on someone whom you know you could trust with your all.

Napunta sa pwettan ko ang isang kamay ni Sage. Pinisil niya ito. "Wala kayong training ngayon, that means you're free for the whole day. We can go on a date in the city and I'll buy you every sweet you want to eat. Or do you want to go somewhere else?"

I moan low in my throat. Gumalaw ako at agaran naitindihan ni Sage kung ano ang gusto 'kong mangyare. Umayos siya ng higa at hinayaan akong pumatong sakanya. I lay, stomach down on top of him. Pinulupot niya kaagad ang dalawang kamay sa bewang ko at tinignan ako ng diretso sa mata. I tucked my hair at the back of my ears, feeling how his chest rises and lowers from his calm breathing.

"Wala kang gagawin ngayon? You're busier than me" I say, a little bit sleepy.

Madaling araw na 'rin kami natapos ni Sage kagabi.

"I can make time if it's you" inangat niya bewang ko para maglebel ang aming ulo. "This week is dedicated to the 1st born prince. The crown prince. Cayden Vetaddeo Montameur, so the streets and the palace will be busy for his upcoming birthday. I don't think it's time for me to do some work, yes?"

It will be a grand birthday party for the Crown Prince. Even though Cayden didn't ask for it, mistulang holiday na ang kanyang kaarawan para sa mga tao. The capital city will close all stores, and shops just to prepare for this important event.
