She pulled out the handle to her rolling suitcase and continued down the hall as if she knew where to go. Lucian quickly picked up his bags and followed behind her. His grin broke the seriousness of the moment as he wanted to know more about her, asking,"What made you decide to join the investigation? I've been told that gaining an audience with you requires some major pull." Chloe was silent for a moment before she stopped in front of a door. Turning her attention to him as she rested a hand on the door knob, "It spoke to me, you could say. Most haunted locations would but this one is different. It was familiar and inviting. Like coming home from a long trip."

Lucian stood there with a puzzled look for a moment as if making note of it for future reference. "Well, unfortunately I can't say I feel the same after the little welcome I got." Chloe gave a sly grin before she pointed a finger to a doorway across the balcony hallway, "I think you might like that room instead." "You think so?,"He flashed a grin, "I'll trust you on that. I'm going to go put these away and I'll be downstairs later. I want to take pictures of this place." He paused before asking, "You're more than welcome to join me. I..uh... If you want." Lucian scratched the side of his head a bit nervous around her for some reason. Chloe broke out a full smile and before she closed the door behind her, "Sure..."

---Chloe---

She let go of her bag, leaning against the door as she chuckled at his awkward pretty boy talk. He was cute, no denying. Unfortunately due to her abilities, being able to get close to anyone was difficult for her. She blinked a few times to focus back to where she was, wanting to push back memories of her past. Her eyes lit up as she took her time gazing at everything in the room. The room had a pearl white and gold trim color theme. In the middle was a large king size canopied bed with curtains drawn to the posts. There was a slight perfumed scent to the air as she set down her bags next to the dresser. Two other doors were there, one by the bed and the other to the left side of the door she had come through.

First she checked the door to the side of the bed. Inside were hundreds of outfits tailored for a female frame. Chloe walked through, letting her fingers move across the fabric. Sounds of laughter mostly with hints of anger and sadness echoed in her head. The clothes looked of the castle's period. She looked at one in particular. It was a deep red with black trim along the edges. Shoulder-less sleeves that had cuffed at the wrist. Black pearls and gems decorated the corset style waistline. The back was left open from just below where the shoulder blades would be. She decided that once she was done with the day's look around she would try this one on first.

After closing the closet door, she went to check the other door. Stepping inside she saw the room filled with black marble. A flash of lightning illuminated the bathroom in an elegant display. Walking to the counter, she noticed that this room must have been refurbished to have proper plumbing and lighting. She turned to face the large window showcasing the evening storm playing out where below that was a sunken garden tub. Chloe smiled at the private room she was given.

Returning to her bags, she pulled out her Nuummite Pendulum and a few other items to put into her pockets for now. Stretching for a moment before she headed out to meet with Lucian below, she knew that he would be waiting for her. They always do.

---Lucian---

"Sure..." she spoke in an upbeat way and then closed the door behind her. Lucian stood there for a moment with a grin on his face. After a few seconds, he gathered himself and his bags, making his way to the pointed room. Shifting a bag to his other hand, he opens the door to a large bedroom. His hazel eyes looked all around in sheer wonder. The canopy bed was against the far wall in dark reds and gold. Dropping all of his bags he quickly gets to the writing desk that looked in mint condition. Even the stationary was stocked on its shelves. He looked up to a large painting that hung above. It didn't appear to be Vlad Tepes III but perhaps a relative further down the line. Perhaps the owner's grandfather, which still struck a resemblance of Vlad.
