buying a house and a gender reveal party

time skip to january 11, 2015; Los Angeles, CA

harry and i were currently walking around a house as the realtor spoke. the other boys trailing behind. "woah can i live here" niall asks with his mouth open wide. harry and i look at him. we laugh.

"so you guys are expecting" she says as she points to my belly. "yeah we are" i said absentmindedly rubbing my belly. harry and i aren't together but we are gonna co-parent and the best way to do that is to live together. were buying one in LA. we already have one in london.

"do you know the gender?" the realtor asks. "no not yet" harry answers her. she nods. "okay so this is the kitchen." she says as she leads us to the kitchen.

we roam the place and louis sits on one of the chairs. "i want dinner mommy" he says in a childish voice. harry and i share a laugh. he puts his arm around my shoulder. "come on li" he guides me to the living room.

"this is a beautiful living room h" i said in awe. "so the master the bedroom is upstairs" the realtor says as she starts to walk up the steps. we all follow and we step into the room.

"we also heard that you guys were expecting so we made a little gender neutral nursery" she says. "lead the way miss" harry smiles. we walk out of the room and follow her. the boys trailing behind.

she pushes the door open.

"we'll take it" harry and i say in unison. "you guys have 6 other bedrooms. this house has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms" the realtor says. "were moving in!" liam yells. "no those rooms are for when harry's family comes and visit or when our family comes liam" i said immediately stopping him.

"and when you guys come and visit LA" harry says. i slap him playfully on the chest. "we'll give you a moment" zayn says stepping out of the room. the boys and the realtor follow.

"i cant believe this is happening" i said walking up to the crib. harry walks up to me. i face him. "here sit down" i said and he sits down on the chair. i pull his hair into a bun. "thank you li" he says. i kiss the top of his head.

he gets up and puts his arm around me. i hesitate but lace my fingers with his. "lets go sign those papers" he says and guides me out of the nursery.

~time skip to the next day~

harry and i didn't really have to pack anything. just some clothes, our personal things. we could get new things here in LA. its zayn's 22nd birthday today. zayn thought it was an amazing idea to mix harry and i's gender reveal party with his. we had politely declined as it was his special day but he insisted and said he, the boys, and perrie and her band mates would plan it out.

"happy birthday zayn" i said walking up to him to give him a hug. "thank you li" he said bending down to my height to accept the hug. "here" i said handing him a bag which contained his present.

he opened it and finds an apple watch. "why lia?" he asks in shock. "you have always said you wanted to get one but you never did" i said shrugging. "thank you so much li" he says and hugs me. "youre very welcome zayn" i hugged him back.

~time skip to the gender reveal~

my family along with harry's family. the boys and their families. they all sat at one huge table because they are really really special. other guests were scattered around on different tables. like naya rivera, heather morris, lea michele, amber riley, maily the whole glee cast, dove cameron, cameron boyce, some people from the marvel cast like sebastian stan, i knew all of these people dont ask me how i just do.

ed sheeran was here, all of our close friends from school are here.

i was wearing this:

harry was matching with a floral suit. "wait harry come here" i said and i structed him to sit down. "i love it when your hair is tied back" i whispered in his ear. i pulled it up into a fancy bun. "thank you li" he says.

"okay ladies and gentlemen. we have here lia payne and harry styles" zayn said into the microphone. "they are expecting a baby. as you can see" louis says and the guests laugh as louis gestures my belly.

"they dont know the gender" niall says. "today they are going to find out" liam says into the microphone. i stole louis' microphone. "reminder that today is also zayn's birthday" i said. zayn smiles at me and shakes his head and looks down.

"okay here harry" louis says handing harry a confetti popper. "here lia" louis also hands me one. "turn on your cameras ladies and gentlemen" louis says playfully.

we all laugh. "okay so youre gonna spin it at the bottom and the confetti should pop out with the color of the gender" zayn explains.

"on your count" harry says to the guests. they start to countdown. "3!" harry and i pulled it at the same time. blue confetti flew around us. i had tears in my eyes. im having a boy.

"were having a boy!" harry and i yell at each other excitedly and we hugged each other.
