zayn's last show

we were in the bus eating something. it was quiet. really quiet. louis was holding the baby, liam was resting his cheek on his hand, harry was eating cereal, niall was on his phone, zayn was just sitting there staring at me.

i was staring down at the table with my arms crossed. noah ezra started crying. louis immediately handed him to me. i started to rock him and he fell asleep. i leaned back in my chair. "hey uhm its my last show today" zayn spoke up.

"what do you mean?" liam asked. "im quitting the band" he says quietly. its silent again. harry and i look at each other. "we support you zayn and were not gonna pressure you to stay" louis says.

"just don't forget about us" niall says. "never" zayn says smiling. we all smile. "okay lets stop moping around and start the day" i said smiling.

we all get up and go outside. harry draped a blanket over the baby and took him from my arms. i smiled up at him. he balances the baby in one arm and he takes my hand in his hand. our fingers interlock.

we walk to the arena through the back door. louis holds the door open for all of us. we walk in and we set noah ezra in his crib that they have established here just for us.

harry still has his hand in my mine. "lou can you please take care of him while we roam for a little bit?" harry asks her. she nods her head excitedly immediately agreeing. harry throws his arm on my shoulder while still keeping our hands interlocked.

i smiled and we met up with the boys who were waiting for us. "took forever" liam joked. i slapped his arm with my free one and harry led the way.

i wrapped my other arm around harrys waist. he looks down at me and smiles. we got up onto the stage. we see fans scattered here and there. they noticed us and they started to scream.

that was only zayn, liam, louis, and niall. harry and i weren't in view yet. we walk out and fans screamed louder than when they saw the other boys. harry looks down at me and i smile up at him.

he looks down at my lips. he mouths, 'can i kiss you?' i nod my head and he leans in and kisses me. the fans start to cheer. but i feel guilty. zayn kissed me and i kinda accepted it. i didnt want to kiss zayn, but it happened.

harry and i weren't anything. we weren't a couple. so if he were to find out, he shouldnt be upset right? anyways. i melt into the kiss and he pulls away. i pout. he presses multiple kisses onto my lips making me laugh.

we waved to the fans and walked down the steps leading backstage. we walk into the room where lou was gonna help us get situated.

~time skip~

after breastfeeding noah ezra i was ready to head onto the stage. i was wearing one of harry's black shirts and with simple jeans and vans.

i was so glad that i could wear jeans again. lou just let my hair down doing nothing but just brushing it out. no makeup either just eyebrows.

i met up with the boys backstage. we put our hands in the middle. "1, 2, 3" zayn counted down.
"we push" we all said at the same time.

we walk on stage and the fans immediately started to cheer. we waved to them. what makes you beautiful started.

little things started and as always we sit down. the order was always. harry, zayn, niall, me, liam, and louis. our last time singing little things with zayn. i look over at zayn as he was singing. he started to
get tears in his eyes.

i started to get tears in my eyes as well. my best friend was leaving. but its for his own good.

~time skip~

we were all at the airport late at night. zayn decided that right after the show he was immediately leaving. harry and i both bought the ticket. niall was carrying noah ezra and we were all standing in front of zayn saying our goodbyes.

paul was here with us a well. zayn first said goodbye to liam. they hugged and zayn started sobbing. "im sorry" he says through his tears. "its not your fault" liam assured him rubbing his back.

zayn then went on to hug louis. louis immediately burst into tears. both of them holding onto each other so tightly. he then moved onto niall. niall handed him noah ezra and he said his goodbye to the baby.

he coos at the baby and noah ezra smiles. "im gonna miss ya buddy" he says holding the baby close to
him and noah ezra finds his little arms around him. he hands the baby to liam. he hugs niall goodbye.

he then moves onto me. he hugs me and i immediately start to cry. "im gonna miss you so much" i said crying. "im gonna miss you more" he responds. i laugh through my tears. we pull away.

"here" he says handing me the hoodie that i gave him back nearly 5 years ago. "i never wore it and i want you to have it" he says pushing it towards me. i take it into my hands. i hug him again.

harry and zayn hug saying little jokes that they had with each other. paul carries the baby as we all do a group hug. we cry and reminisce our times with zayn. "i love you guys" zayn says. "we love you too" the 5 of us said.

we all pull apart. i grab noah ezra from paul as zayn says his goodbyes to him. we see him go into the plane and he turns around to wave at us. we all wave back and he disappears.
