Tae had woken up a little early today and was eating something in the kitchen. While his mind aimlessly wandered to when he woke up few hours back in jungkooks arms. He couldn't help but notice the way his eyes were softly shut, his face that was swollen because of sleep, his lips that were slightly parted. He looked so handsome he thought as he traced his fingers on jungkooks face.
He soon snapped out of his thoughts, why did he do that? He not only was starring at him but also called him handsome and.. Oh god!
Taehyung's POV
"What's wrong with me? Why am I thinking like that? He's my best friend. We have close before but why did this time seem different." I decided to brush all these thoughts away and start to get ready for uni.
Soon me and kook were on our way to the University. As we entered we were welcomed by non other than jenny. I smiled at her and started walking ahead when kookie stopped me.
" tae.. you go ahead, I'll meet you later." kookie said and I didn't like it, was it because of her? He's really going to accept her date?
"oh why?" I replied even though I knew why.. *eye roll*
"me and Jungkook are skipping today" jenny said which made me surprised, the look on jungkooks face also seemed like he doesn't know what she's talking about.
For some reason I didn't like it. I didn't want him to go. I was feeling restless how can she just take kookie and go. He's mine.
Wait whhhattt!????? He's mine? Why did that thought even come up. Oh god no. It can't. I can't. And so I just walked away from them.
Suddenly I was pulled backwards by my arm,
"tae.. I didn't know." kookie said and I know he's not lying I want to tell him I know but I noticed a crowd forming and I didn't like the feeling it reminded me of a bad memory.
"koo.. People are watching please leave my hand." I said softly for only him to hear and so he did.
The rest of the day was so boring. Kookie didn't show for math we had together which means he was with jenny. Should I text him?
Tae❤️ Koo.. are you in uni?
No reply yet... It's almost time to go home and kook isn't here _
Taehyung decided once he's home he'd give jungkook a call. Once he reached home, that wasn't the site he expected to be welcomed with. Jenny on Jungkooks lap and they both were eating each others face. As soon as tae saw that his heart broke a little, he still hadn't come to terms with what he was feeling lately and the site in front of him definitely did help a little.
He cleared his throat which caught their attention. Jenny was blushing and kookie wasn't able to meet taes eyes. Jenny quickly got off jungkook.
"I should get going." jenny said and quietly left.
Tae didn't know how to react or what to say because currently his mind was so chaotic. He rushed to his room as locked the door. Millions thoughts were running through his mind. He never felt this way and then he finally brought himself to accept it, accept the fact that what he was trying to deny himself of was actually true.
"I have feelings for my best friend."
And with that thought he couldn't stop his tears. Before he could let himself feel completely that thing was taken away from him. He wanted to slap jungkook for making him feel like this.
After a while jungkook came knocking on door, by then tae had already unlocked the door and was lying on his bed scrolling through social media trying to get his mind off jungkook. He noticed the door was open and walked in only to join tae on his bed.
"watcha doing?" jungkook asked which was pretty random and sounded so awkward.
"searching how to unfriend your best friend because they left you in uni for making out with a girl." tae said rolling his eyes.
"I missed you bub." Jungkook said pouting.
"I didn't! as you must've seen I was busy eating someone's face." tae said trying to avoid the way his heart was crazy because of the close proximity between them.
"oh I see that's how it is...well then I forgive you." kook said.
"well I don't. Go away." tae said he really wanted to fight with kookie right now and kook wasn't even giving him that.
"tae.." Jungkook said as he lifted him and placed him between his legs.
"leave me you stupid muscle bunny." which made jungkook let out a chuckle.
Tae was so conscious right now. He was trying his best to not blush. He was trying to avoid his feelings at the moment when jungkook placed a soft kiss on his nape. By now tae was a blushing mess.
"oo my bub is happy now." Jungkook cooed at him.
"koo... Are you and jenny... Together now?" tae asked hurt was clearly visible in his voice but jungkook didn't seem to catch it.
"no tae.. We were just.. I mean.." Jungkook said, not able to form a sentence.
That made taes feel sad. Jungkook didn't know what he was feeling right now meaning he definitely didn't have any feelings for tae, maybe he had feelings for jenny to see they kissed the second time and he couldn't even deny that he liked it.
"you don't have to answer koo" tae asked as he rested his head on jungkooks chest.
On the other hand jenny was enjoying with her friends and they were laughing and gossiping on how jenny and jungkook will soon be together. They never imagined jenny to be with Jungkook atleast. Though she has had a crush on him since a few years but all those years she never tried then why now?
"he'll ask me out soon guys" jenny said taking another shot of her vodka and walked off to the dance floor.
