Jungkook left early from home so tae had to walk alone to the uni. He was excited, nervous, scared and happy for today. He was going to confess his feelings today, but what was making tae more agitated was what jungkook was going to tell him.
He was pacing in his room right now, he had woken up pretty early and was practicing on how would he form his words. He was getting frustrated and finally gave up, deciding he'd say whatever came to his mind. After all jungkook was his best friend it wouldn't be that difficult he thought and made his way to the closet.
He dressed up different today not his usual sweats and tshirt that he wore to uni but today he wore his skin tight blue jeans pairing it with a black tshirt that was tucked in. He did his hair and put on some white shoes which he hates a lot to wear but today was an exception. With million thoughts he left the house, smiling widely at everyone on his way. People would think he's some nut smiling for no reason walking alone but he didn't care.
He finally reached the University and entered the gates with one thought
"today's going to be a happy day." he smiled and walked in.
As he entered the cafeteria he spotted yoongi, Jimin, jenny and jungkook. He walked towards them and couldn't stop smiling. They all were surprised because this is the first time they saw tae wearing something decent to uni.
"just... No reason." tae said and looked at jungkook who hadn't said anything yet.
"wait who are you and what have you done to tae?" jimin said laughing again.
"stop being so dramatic chim." tae said rolling his eyes. "it's nothing really I just felt like it." he continued.
Tae sat across jungkook who was sitting beside jenny, "hi koo" tae said looking at him as he slided a box towards him across the table.
"I figured you must've not had breakfast so I brought you some." tae said smiling but jenny butted in
"oh thanks tae, but since jungkook got here early we had our breakfast, thanks but jungkook doesn't need it." jenny said which made jimin to rip her throat off. The smile on taes face went down but he reminded himself that today is going to be good and pushed it away.
" no its fine, since tae cooked it for me I'll have it." Jungkook said not liking how taes smile faded.
"no kook it's fine, you don't have to eat it. Jimin do you want some?" tae said and jimin happily took the tiffin box and started eating.
Jimin and tae were on their way to their class where jimin was rambling on how much of a bitch jenny is. "I think she's upto something. What a bitch! I feel like slapping her." which made tae laugh. He wasn't really paying any attention to what jimin was saying, his mind was clouded with how, where and when he should tell jungkook. At home? Nooo.. It'll be awkward. Maybe in the break? But that's so early I'm nervous. Soon he was pulled out of his thoughts when jimin dragged him into the class.
"where is your mind tae? You really just dressed up or is it something?" jimin asked but tae rolled his eyes.
Lecture was as usual boring as fuck! He was dying of anticipation, what would jungkook say, would he accept his feelings? On the other hand jungkook too was getting agitated and nervous on how to tell tae something he's been wanting to say since 2 days. He's nervous and doesn't know how will tae react but he thought it's now or never.
Suddenly taes phone buzzed in his pocket and saw a text from jungkook.
Kookie❤️ Are you busy?
Tae❤️ No I'm taehyung.
Kookie❤️ Duh! Lame af!
Tae❤️ I'm in class rn What is it?
Kookie❤️ Meet me on the rooftop during the break. I have to tell you something imp.
Oh.. Shit! What do I do? He wants to tell me now? How do I deny it? Should I go? fuck it.. I'll go.

Tae was so nervous right now. He was on his way to the rooftop trying to stop the smile trying to creep its way on his face. Without realising he finally realised he reached the rooftop and there he was. His best friend, the person he's spend his whole life with, their childhood friendship would now turn to something else. He doesn't know what is coming, he's nervous as hell and scared. His heart is thumping faster than ever, he suddenly feels the need to pee but pushes the thought away. Jungkook notices his presence and turns towards him. Tae noticed that jungkook is nervous too and it made him relaxed a little.
Jungkook pulls him in a hug which shocks taehyung. He was just trying to calm his heart down but this is so not helping. They pull away and jungkook is just looking at tae nervously.
"You wanted to say something tae." Jungkook said and tae felt blood rising in his face and he looked at jungkook with wide eyes.
"no..i mean yes but you go first. You were going to tell me yesterday." tae said and jungkook just nodded completely nervous on how he should put it.
They sat down on the floor beside each other, both of them nervous as hell and waiting to just get it off their chest. Jungkook doesn't know how tae will react and tae is so scared that his urge to pee is getting worse. Jungkook then takes taes hand in his own and starta playing with his fingers. Tae always found this so cute, whenever jungkook had to tell him something and he was nervous he would play with taes fingers and pout like a small baby like he was doing now.
"don't be nervous koo. I'm here.." tae said softly.
"tae.. I have to say that.. I..." Jungkook was stuttering and this was making tae even more nervous.
Jungkook was nervous was hell but he thought, "fuck it I'll just say it"
