It's been a while now since the whole situation with jenny and three months since jungkook and tae confessed their feelings. Jungkook still hadn't told tae about it and he felt it's easy like this. Since the past 2 days jenny again started to hang out with the boys. She hadn't spilled anything to tae but she tried to get close to jungkook as much as possible, jungkook would just backed out or push her away, which was making her angry.

He didn't intend to, but ever since jenny started hanging out with them, he involuntarily started distancing himself from tae. Like he wouldn't hold his hand or look at him or even call him sweet words when jenny was around. Taehyung noticed this change but didn't know why, he wanted to ask but he gave jungkook space. If he wanted he would tell him he thought and shrugged it off.

Jungkook was guilty, for what happened with jenny and what he did to tae. Even though they weren't in a relationship yet.

Taehyung on the other hand, wanted to change that. He saw how quiet and troubled jungkook had become and thought he'd surprise him. He smiled at the thought of them being together officially with the label.

Tae took out his phone and texted jimin.

After texting jimin, tae got ready to meet jimin. He informed jungkook and kissed him on his cheeks but he frowned when jungkook didn't kiss him back and sadly made his way out.

At the cafe, tae was telling jimin about his plans and jimin was suggesting some.

"why don't you do it at home only? I mean it's the best place. It's comfortable and away from any distractions." jimin suggested and tae instantly like the idea but something was worrying him.

"chim...what if he rejects me? I mean..I know he says he likes me and I like him. But lately he's been so distant, he didn't even kiss me back today. He didn't even tell me anything and I don't wanna push it. I know how much he wants his space." tae said sadly and confused.

" relax tae.. I'm sure it's nothing. Maybe something is bothering him but that doesn't mean he'll reject you or he doesn't like you anymore. I'm damn sure, he loves you like you do, or maybe even more. " jimin said reassuring tae which calmed him down soo and he got excited for his surprise.

"when are you planning to tell him anyway?" jimin asked biting on his sandwich.

"oh.. I think this weekend." tae said excited.

Both finished their food and headed to their respective homes. They didn't even realize they spent more than 2 hours and it was late.

Once Tae was home, he was invited with the amazing aroma of take out foods that jungkook sad just placing on the kitchen counter. Without wasting much time he quickly freshened up and joined jungkook on the couch who was waiting for him.
Taehyung instead of sitting on the couch, went and sat on jungkooks lap which made jungkook snap his head at tae.

"koo.. We haven't spend much time in the past few days.. I hope everything is fine between us" tae said hopefully.
Jungkook felt bad because he didn't want to make tae feel like this.

"are you hurt because of me?" jungkook asked softly and tae shook his head

"no.. I'm not hurt kookie. I'm a little worried. Promise me if you're in some pain you'll share it with me.." tae said and jungkook started feeling even more bad.

"you're not hurt are you sure?" jungkook questioned which made tae laugh

"just know no matter what you do I won't ever be hurt by you koo...you're my favourite" tae said smiling

"but there's one thing that hurt me today....you didn't return my kiss" tae said pouting and jungkook quickly kissed both his cheeks, making tae blush.

Jungkook was dying of guilt now. If tae would hate him, it would be so much better than what he's feeling now. He can't tell him.. He's just feeling like a coward right now.

Tae... You deserve so much better than this shitty best friend. You deserve so much better than me tae. Why do you like me tae. Why!!!

Jungkooks eyes pooled with tears and taehyung saw it and wiped away those tears.

"shh...koo..my baby...I'm here for you. Always" tae said, he cupped jungkooks face in his hands and pulled his face closer and pecked his lips, the kiss soon turned into a soft pleasure. Kisses with tae would always be soft, slow and with so much meaning. Soon they both pulled away and for the first time in a while tae saw jungkook smile.

That is when tae knew, it'll all be alright.

"let's eat now" tae giggled and they both enjoyed their meal. Jungkook was smiling and happy even if it was just for a moment, he felt refreshed and happy. Happy with his tae.
