Chapter 1.2 Mago's day in Inn De Blue Moon

The next day Mago reached in Jeju and at first she went to meet her sister;the 9th Mago sister.
"It's been a long time since we met.",said Mago.The 9th sister gave a surprised yet a relaxed expression on her sister's way as she spoke,"Actually this is the first time we are meeting in person,Eonni." Embarrassed Mago gave a brief smile and walked on the way with her sister.They went to the 9th sister's house.After taking a sit and catching breaths the 9th sister asked Mago that why did she came all the way to Jeju to meet her sister.Mago answered,"Oh,I might really disappoint you right now.I'm here for work purpose."Curiously the 9th Mago sister asked,"Work purpose?What work do you have in Jeju?You could have called me instead."
"Uh no actually.I had to do it myself.I have to visit the Inn."said Mago.Surprised 9th sister again asked,"The Inn?As in Inn De Blue Moon?!"
"Yes."Said Mago while making herself comfortable on the couch.She continued,"I booked a room there for two days.I have to meet the owner and ask him for a favour."
"You possibly can't get a favour from that owner so easily.He does things for people when there is money.Do you have any money on you?"said the 9th sister.Mago was sure of the fact that the owner of such a reputed Inn wouldn't settle with just words.To ease off her sister she told her that she had brought money and something more precious than that for the owner.When the 9th sister asked what it was,Mago denied to answer and told her that she can't give off such information to anyone for now.The two sister spent few more minutes with eachother as the 9th sister give off few informations about the owner.The 9th sister has been in Jeju most of her time.The people of Jeju knew her well and every 10 year she changed her name and identity.The 9th sister explained to her sister that how she made different connection to her past identity every time and how as time went by no one really cared about her identity or descendants.She told her sister that she has been providing herbal remedies and therapies here.

Mago took leave after an hour as it was almost 10 a.m.She wanted to check in as soon as possible.As she was leaving she asked her sister,"Ya(Hey),before I leave I want to know what name you go by here?"The 9th sister gave a little smirk and answered her elder sister,"Ma Go Yoon;that's my real name.But here for now I'm known as Dr.Ra Go Yoon.I'm pretty famous here actually and everyone knows me.So next time you come out of blue don't forget to inform me because I known as the only daughter of my mother.So you have to change your face next time as well."Mago stared blankly to her sister.This was the first time they were meeting and getting to know about eachother,she wonder how her others sisters were doing.

The sisters exchanged good-byes and Mago went on her way to the Inn.It took her almost another hour to reach her destination.The Inn was situated on top of one of the the hill in Jeju,which was a non tourist zone.After 30 minutes of ride the taxi driver denied to drive farther as the roads were deadly and there wasn't even a pathway for any vehicle afterwards.Disappointed Mago paid the driver and pulled out her belongings.On her way to the inn she didn't spare a second to curse the person who placed the inn in such place.She pulled her heavy bags with her and became furious as well as tierd.
After walking all on her own she finally found the inn and stayed still as she executed the beauty of the inn and caught her breaths.The Inn had a blue roof made of wooden as the maple leafs covered most of the walls of the building.The Inn was a bit smaller than she expected because her sister told her that there were enormous room and no soul ever went without the excellent service and as she remembers from her memories as well.The Inn really did shine in blue,even on a sunny day.She started to walk again and as the inn grew closer she became more tierd.After walking for 10 more minutes she finally reached at it's door step and saw a small billboard where words were written in woods and read out "Inn De Blue Moon."

Mago stood infront of the main door as the doorman opened it for her.The inn was really huge inside.It has a huge lobby and was beautifully crafted in wood.There were a lot of guests and everyone looked very busy.As soon as Mago entered into the Inn a man came and greeted her;he took her belongings and accompanied her to the reception for check-in.Even the reception was busy,everyone was working,managing papers,talking over phone calls,giving out keys to the guests.Mago putted her hands on the desk and belled the small service bell.A young man stood in front of her out of the other four busy receptionists.The man was tall and has a nose like a hook.The young man had a warm smile on his face and greeted Mago."Welcome to Inn De Blue Moon!May I have your name,please?"
"It's Ma Go."
"You have a reservation for two days,Ma'am?"
"Yes,that's right."
"Here are your keys for room number 1049.The  bellboy will take your bags and help you to your room.If you need anything you can dial 1920 and ask for anything.If you want to extend your stay you can just call the reception desk.Every other information is on the catalog you will find in your room and if you have any special wish,ask for it right away as it's our one and only duty to cater the souls of dead."
Mago was highly impressed with the service the Inn actually provided and how the receptionist was trained and obedient towards his job.Mago took the keys and as she was about to walk away,she suddenly thought about telling the receptionist the wish her had for the inn.She turned and faced the receptionist,"Actually I do have a wish,boy.And only this Inn can do it for me."The receptionist smiled and said,"Hopefully there isn't anything we can't do.You can tell right away,Ma'am."
Mago smirked a little as she knew what she was about to ask for,"I would love to meet the owner of the Inn."The receptionist became stunned,it wasn't a wish that they often got.Only those could meet the owner who had a great deal and besides no one ever wanted to or wished meet him.He hesitated a bit,he knew she wasn't asking for the impossible but if only she had a great deal or a wish so highly.He took few minutes to adjust the words Mago just had told him and said,"For such request,Ma'am;you must talk to the manager of the Inn."Mago understood his hesitation and agreed to meet and talk to the manager instead.The receptionist told her that he would inform her that when can she contact the manager as the Inn was in a busy position and the manager was out of town,he even informed that the manager will be here by evening and he would inform the manager about her request.Mago thanked the receptionist and before leaving she asked for the receptionist's name."Oh,It's Choi Byung-Hee and I'm the head of the reception desk.If you need anything just call the reception."He smiled again and Mago took her leave.

It was past 7 p.m.Mago was in her room all day and waited for a call from the reception.
Around 7:15 p.m. she got a call from the reception,"Good evening,Ma'am.It's Choi Byung-Hee from the reception desk.Manager-Nim has arrived.If you are not busy would you like to inform me that when you'd like to meet her?"Mago finally eased off that she can finally speak to the manager.She told the receptionist that if possible she would love to meet the manager right now.Byung-Hee replied in affirmative that he would arrange their meeting in the dining hall and further asked for a specific time of the meeting.Mago told him that 9:30 p.m. would be perfect.Byung-Hee then said,"If it's fine by you,Ma'am.Manager-nim would like to meet you whenever you can."
Mago thanked once again and hung the call.

Around the time of the meeting Mago headed to the dining hall.She took the elevator and pressed the -1 button,beside the button there was written in cursive style "The Blue Dining Hall."The dining hall was extended into an excellent space,no one would be able to tell from the outside that this place had this much of space.The hall was full with people and waiters-waitresses.Everyone had a companion and was busy with their meal.The hall was filled with the smell of food and none of the dishes looked ordinary as if they were cooked from a prestigious chef.As Mago walked down the hall and was looking for the manager she noticed a woman on her 40s sitting alone.She wore a suit all in black,her hair chopped in the length of her shoulders,her cheekbones shining out as if  they were crafted by some sculptor.She was sitting cross legged and was resting her hands on her knees.Every waiter-waitress walked on her way bowed to her(showed respect) which made clear to Mago that she might be the manager.Mago walked to her,as the woman noticed Mago she stood up and bowed down.The woman asked,"You must be Ms.Ma Go.I am Han Jaechi.I am the general manager of the Inn.I was told that you wished to meet me.Please be seated and feel comfortable."Both of them sat down.Mago began,"You must know who I am by now."Jaechi nodded;she has been working 15 years here,she had a spiritual connection and could see the world of spirits because of her dead son.She knew well about everything and knew about the Mago sisters as the 9th sister often paid a visit.Mago continued,"I am the first of the sisters,you see.I could have easily come and meet the owner of this place.But I didn't.Because I had to come myself and experience the inn myself as well.You know,I won't journey all the way from Seoul to here myself on a train just to know about the service too.The Inn is really doing well-off and I'm highly amazed.The Inn isn't that old enough but is really popular to the afterlife and underworld.Anyone would come and no one goes empty handed."Mago relaxed on her chair and gazed at the manager.She began with a straight and serious face,"I should come to the point,I wish to meet the owner personally.But it seems that it's not that possible to just meet him.But I would still like you to ask him and if he disagrees just tell him that I know about someone;someone he has been looking for all this years."
Jaechi was in shock after hearing Mago's last sentence.It took her few minutes to sink in what Mago just told her;"someone he had been looking for all this years."Jaechi knew whom Mago was talking about but before she could speak Mago stood up,bowed and took her leave.Jaechi started to sweat,she placed her hands behind her neck and murmured,"After all this years?.......she got to be fucking kidding me."
