Hey, Cupid:

Why do we fall in love with someone we can't have? Can there be such a thing as an 'unlove' button that could save us from possible heartbreaks?

Third Person's POV

The boy did not expect that he would be receiving a reply that fast. After all, his text message was long overdue. He would not admit it to himself because it would cost him his ego, but he's really shy to text the girl first. He grabbed his phone and opened the message.

Sino po sila? Hehehe)

Kinusot ng lalaki ang kanyang dalawang mata. Titingnan niyang muli kung sa tamang numero ba siya nag-send ng mensahe. He was really baffled because that was the number that Feb had given her just last month. He would reply asking,

Joke time ba 'to? Hindi ba ikaw si Feb?

Sa tuwing nagre-reply ng ganoon ang dalaga sa mga unknown number na nagme-message sa kanya, hindi na muli nagre-reply ang mga ito. It was a bit creepy for her as well, because the sender knows her name. 'Okay, let's proceed to level 2. I hope this person would stop already or else I have to proceed to level 3.'

Alchemy's POV

Nang mabasa ko ang sumunod na reply, sigurado na akong hindi number ni Feb ang tine-text ko. 'Pekeng number 'yong binigay n'ya sa 'kin? At what's worse jejemon pa? Argh! Lagot sa 'kin 'yang Feb na 'yan bukas. Makikita n'ya.' I ruffled my hair in frustration.

Well, I don't consider us being that close, but for me, Feb is my greatest rival. Not just because our families (the Lopezes and the Sys) are business rivals but because she's the first girl who had made me experience my first defeat. Not only that; my pride could not take it that every time I had to compete with her, it's either that I would be second place or a loser. What's more, she's a freaking 'girl' for that matter.

Coming from a Chinese family, I had been taught that it is a man that should dominate anything-be it sports, academics, music, literature and basically anything under the sun. Men had to take control. Ever since I was born, my parents had told me that I was special-that someday, I would lead the Philippine economy and make our country the best in the world.

Keeping that in mind, whilst being naturally gifted in all the fields I am engaging myself with, I had also worked hard to hone the talents and skills that I have. When I was young and even up until now, aside from attending regular classes in an elite school, I would have sports-related lessons, music lessons and art lessons at home. I did not stop until I had perfected each of them. My teachers would always tell me that I was a genius and there isn't much that they could teach me because I was able to learn all of them fast. Even my schoolmates would always treat me with respect and admiration.
