"I never thought that I would see the day
That I'll decide if I should leave or stay
If I would be given another choice Feb, I would definitely not do this. But it's your happiness that is on the line and I can't afford not to choose it over mine.
But in the end, what makes it worth the fight's
That no matter what happens, we try to make it right"
What happened to you in our past life was just...unfair. And now fate's working really hard to do the same thing again, but don't worry, I'll work even harder, send a 'fuck you' sign to the universe, and I'll make things right for you. I promise this sacrifice would be worth it.
We had just arrived at the place. I wake Feb up with a gentle tap on her shoulders as I opened the car door and step outside to which she had done the same.
I saw Feb look at her watch. "Nice. Just in time for its opening. Let's go?" She said as she grabbed my hands again. I was getting used to holding her hand today that...
...I was also getting scared every time thought that I wouldn't remember how this feels would cross my mind.
It was peaceful inside. The kind of environment I am comfortable with. I guess even if she had planned everything out, she still took into consideration my preferences. Feb and her thoughtfulness.
We just walked in and looked at the artifacts. There were paintings that were hanged on the walls and its corresponding short description below. There were also many pots of different sizes and colors. There were tools that were being used in the ancient times for fighting in war such as guns, swords, knives and others. There were also parts of what I could guess is a ship.
It was actually my first time going to a museum and I was really fascinated by the items and relics that could be found inside. I was aware that the Philippine history is rich but seeing these things up close and personal left me in so much awe. Feb would sometimes tell me something about the artifacts that we were looking at so I curiously asked her,
"Have you gone here before? Or do you just fancy learning about history?"
"Honestly, this is my first time going here as well. And I like science more than history." She told me as she took pictures of the items inside. Without flash, of course, or else the staff would throw us outside as per their guidelines.
"But you seem really knowledgeable."
"Do I? Well, I studied a bit about these things so that I could make this experience more enjoyable for you." She said as she shyly confessed.
'She...she did all that for me? She had put such effort overnight? And then she had the guts to tell us that she did not deserve the all the good things in the world?'
"Come, look at this." She pointed at a painting as she excitedly dragged me at its location.
"What' so special about that painting that you're acting like a really excited kid right now?" I asked her.
