Hey, Cupid:
Why is it that love makes one so selfless, they are willing to give up anything just for the sake of the one they love?

Third Person's POV
After that last scene, everybody kept quiet. It seems like they weren't able to process yet what they had just discovered. Their past after all, was really...horrible.
They would occasionally steal glances and when they do, they would immediately go back to thinking...thinking if all these things were really happening. Thinking if all they had discovered were true. If those were true, then what now?
Psyche then appeared out of nowhere and showed herself.
"So, Neville...do you perhaps wanted to help the Felicita of the present?" Psyche asked the boy who is still thinking right now.
"That's ridiculous, all those have already been buried in the past, what's important is now, the present." Feb had bared her thoughts.
"I agree. The past would stay in the past. No one can change it after all. But, you have the power to change your fate in the future." Psyche meaningfully said.
"Let's not even go towards that topic, you know very well that it is your husband who told the first generation of cupid that nothing can break the contract. Don't you dare try to drive Neville into doing a stupid decision." Feb said, quite annoyed by the meddling that Psyche is doing right now.
"Then, let me tell you all a little secret: you don't have to break the contract in order to relieve Feb of being a cupid. You just have to take her place and carry all the burden.
After all, the contract says that someone should take on the role of being a cupid but it does not necessarily state that that someone should specifically come from Feb's bloodline.
Everything would stay the same with regards their family's luck and success. Also, the next cupid after you would still emanate from Feb's lineage. The only thing that would change is that...Feb would be stripped of all her powers as the present cupid and that would be transferred to the person who would willingly take on the job.
Feb would not be a cupid anymore. Which also means...she would finally have the ability to love."
"Really, Feb? Have you really been fine?
Feb, have you ever asked yourself if you really want to take on that job?" Neville looked at Feb. She just looked away. "Yes, we don't have to be involved because it isn't us who have engaged ourselves in the contract. But isn't it the same thing for you? You just accepted that fate because you can't do anything about it in the first place. However, now that we finally have a way, please, just this once, be selfish Feb and accept my help."
"You don't get it, Neville. I've been really selfish. I've been selfish all along. Because if I'm not, then why have I still interacted with the three of you even if I already had an idea of your feelings ever since we went to the festival? It's because I'm selfish enough not to let go of you three. Even if I knew that I would not be able to love you back." Feb said, sobbing.
