All praises to Allah the Lord of the world. May he send Salam upon our beloved prophet Muhammad(saw) and his family.. Aameen
Prophet(saw) used to go Ali and Fatima-May Allah be pleased with them; Home to wake them up for Tahajjud. This father would leave his home at night and knock on the door to remind them to get up to pray Qiyam ul Layl(Tahajjud) as he(saw) would get up and invoke his Lord.
So One night prophet(saw) went to their home and tried to wake Ali(Ra) but Ali(Ra) did not wake up. Next day prophet(saw) ask Ali why didn't you wake up for Qiyam ul Layl when I come to wake you up?
Ali(Ra) wasn't having a good day so his reply was little bit contentious
He said: "if Allah wants me to wake up then I'll wake up. If not, then I won't wake up"
Here prophet(saw) didn't get angry or start yelling at Ali(ra)., He(SAW) just quietly walked away and very politely said: "Some people get combative over the smallest issues"
Ali(ra) was so ashamed of his own answer and so inspired by the Prophet's (SAW) patience, so he said:"After that I never missed the Tahajjud"
We asked Allah to gather us with them and allow us to be like them. I ask Allah to unite us with our family's and to unite us with these blessed family in highest level of jannatul Firdous.. Aameen
