Us Again | Yoon Jeonghan

Chapter 4

After everything that happened earlier, I couldn't go to the cafeteria. I was still in fear and at the same time embarassed and didn't have a face to show if ever students there also saw what happened.

I went to the bleachers, hoping that nobody was there since it's break time and to my luck, only a few were there. My main purpose of going there is to maybe ease my mind but thankfully Ari came and was the one who helped me be in some sort of comfort.

Since we promised to never leave anyone out and won't have any secrets to each other, I told her everything. She too had mixed emotions towards what happened, but soon disappeared when she told that we should probably expect something like that to happen now that I'm in a so called relationship with the angelic guy Yoon Jeonghan.

Later that afternoon I waited for Ari again at the bleachers. Like the usual, I want to go home with her and talk stuffs that could possibly make me momentarily forget everything, for instance, Yoon Jeonghan.

I wasn't expecting anything from him, really. Anything that's related to me meeting him, but suddenly he's here, a few meters away from the bleachers.

"Glad you're here.", was what he said the moment he was close. He was catching his breath and I just infer that he ran all the way since asking doesn't really matter, and I got way more important things to ask, like Yerin, did he tell her?

"Uhm...so uh...I just came by to give you this."

He pulled out a royal blue jewelry box and my forehead creased when he suddenly handed it to me.

"It's from grandma. She said she saw this when she was at the mall and it reminded her of you."

I opened the box and saw a silver necklace that has a flat circle pendant with tiny diamonds around it. I was still confused and surprised of the sudden gift that I couldn't help but just look at him, half hoping that he'll understand what I'm trying to ask without words.

But a thought hit me. I'm supposed to ask him about Yerin.

"Uhm...I've been meaning to-"

"I need to go now. See you around!", and with that, he fled while I was left there, failed to even complete a sentence.

Another morning came, a very bad morning came because when I could completely set foot on the building someone dragged me outside, it was no other than Yerin.

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from him!?", She shouted at me, making all the students divert their attention to us. I started trembling again and my palms are starting to sweat. I couldn't mutter any words but just look down out of fear.

"Now look at you acting oh so pitied.", I heard her chuckle annoyingly and I could see on my peripheral view that she was about to slap me so what I did was just to shut my eyes close, I waited for her hard slap but there wasn't any coming.

When I slowly opened my eyes, a familiar back was already in front of me grabbing Yerin's hand.

"What do you think you're doing?", Yerin exclaimed annoyingly and pulled away her hands forcefully.

"I'm the one who should ask you that!", Ari held my wrist and pulled me behind her.

"Well, you should ask that good friend of yours on why did this happened.", Yerin crossed her arms infront of her chest.

"As far as I know you're not Yoon Jeonghan's girlfriend.", Ari said which made Yerin looks so defeated.

"What!?"

"You are just super obsessed with him that you're even interrupting his girlfriend!", My eyes widened by what she said, there was a lot of students watching us and I know they're as shocked as I am.
Yerin looks around, her face looking so annoyed.
