(8) "You Are Coming Too."

A month later

Landry was in the teacher's lounge where most of Bucky's friends were along with Delaney. Bucky came in with Sam and Steve behind him.

"Great you are all here. So I've booked us a trip to Vermont." Bucky said

"Vermont? Why?" Natasha said

"It's a ski resort Nat. I booked the biggest cabin there for us all to go during Christmas break." He said as he went over to the Keurig.

"Oh that sounds like fun. It's like when we all went to Aspen junior year." Bobbi said

"Oh yeah that was hella fun." Sam said

"Hell yeah it was." Clint said as he sipped his coffee.

Landry slipped out while they all dished over the trip. Bucky noticed she was missing he excused himself and found her.

"You are coming too." He said from her door frame.

"No that's okay." She said as she was writing notes on her board.

"Landry I will put you in a suitcase and make you come." He said as he helped her off her little stage.

"Bucky.." she said

"Landry please. I want everyone there besides some of the guys we use to play with in college are going too maybe you can.." he said but she cut him off.

"Stop..I told you no dating. I will die a lonely virgin with dogs since I'm allergic to cats." She said

"Landry!" He said

She looked down."Landry baby doll don't you want to get married and have babies? You are a English teacher I thought most English majors believe in all things Shakespeare and Jane Austen." He said

She rolled her eyes as she walked away.

"I rather not go Buck. I told you that I like quiet you all are loud." She said

He tucked some of her hair from her face. "But I want you to come." He said

She looked over her shoulder at him. "Landry please." He said

She sighed. "Fine.." she said in a low tone.

"Lan please don't act like this. I want you to feel included you are my friend too." He said

"Yeah sure." She said in a low tone.

The bell rung as he kissed her cheek. "See you during 3rd." He said

"Yeah.." she said

He left to head to the gym for his first period class of freshmen. The next day Bucky passed out plane tickets to everyone.

Two weeks later

Everyone was pulling in at the airport parking lot. Some of their old UGA team mates were there as well as the girls cheer mates. It was hard to miss the loud rowdy boys and giggles of the girls. Landry came down the parking lot with her suitcase Bucky seen her and ran over to her.

"Come on I'll introduce you." He said

"Buck..it's early to be awfully loud and giggly." She said as he took her suitcase and put in on his.

"This is Landry Dallas." He said

"Nice to meet you Landry." They all said

"Now that we are all here let's get checked in and find the gate." Sam said

They all got their luggage checked got through security. Once they found their gate Landry sat down as they all stood around catching up. Bucky came over to her.

"What's wrong?" He said

"I told you that I'm not like you and your friends." She said

He opened up his carry on bag and gave her some gummi bears. "Relax sweetheart." He said

She ate her candy as they waited for the flight to be called. Once it was called they all found their seats. Bucky was in between Landry and Delaney on the flight. When they were allowed to have their electronics on again Landry pulled out her kindle.

She put her headphones in and turned on a audiobook to fall asleep too. Bucky looked over at her and sighed. Delaney laid her head on his shoulder and went to sleep.
