(12) Valentine's Day Gets Steamy

It was the morning of Valentine's Day and two weeks since the fire. Bucky was still getting the cold shoulder from Landry as well. He carefully laid beside her and ran a finger down her nose.

"Stop it.." she whispered as she rolled away.

"Nope. You need to get up you are having a girls day with the girls. And when you get back I have a surprise for you." Bucky said

"Is it you leaving me alone? Cause that would be nice." She said

"No but you might like it sleeping beauty. But you have to leave." He said as he pulled the blankets off her.

"No it's cold!" She cried out.

Bucky pulled her closer to him. "It's winter Landry. And the houses out here don't heat well. And I told you that you could sleep downstairs by the fireplace." He said

"No.." she said

"Because I sleep down there." He said as she got up and went into her bathroom.

He got a glimpse of some blue lacey panties and part of her ass cheek. He bit his lip as he felt a twitch in his boxers. "Down boy..later. Later we claim that ass." He thought to himself.

She came back out brushing her teeth and rummaging through the dresser. When she went back into the bathroom to get dress he left the room. She met him downstairs in the kitchen when she was done.

He took her wallet and slipped his debit card in it. "Buck..I have money. Some of us may not like be others who has all kinds of money in their account but..I." She said but he cut her off.

"Baby I want you to buy a dress and heels for my surprise for you tonight." He said

"I um..I don't understand did we have plans and I don't remember." She said

"We do. It's a surprise though." He said

She looked at him. "What are you up to?" She said

"Nothing! Just go already have a fun time with the girls and I will see you later." He said as he started to push her towards the door.

"Bucky! I am not a fan of surprises." She said

"Just go have fun geez woman." Bucky said as he opened the door.

She rolled her eyes as she walked out. "It better be worth it James." She said

"Uh excuse you. We have had this discussion many times I answer to Bucky unless it's my family." He said

She stuck her tongue out at him. "Such a tease." He said

She got into her Jeep and took off. Bucky went to get ready for the day since he had a few errands to himself. Landry met the girls at the spa in the small shopping area of their town.

Natasha had scheduled them for a facial mud bath waxing a massage. Landry wanted to cry by the time she was done with the waxing. Once they were done with the spa they headed to Athens to shop.

After spending most of the day with the girls she was happy to go home. Landry was exhausted hanging out with Nat and the girls was exhausting. When she pulled into the driveway Landry noticed all the lights were off but Bucky's truck was in the driveway.

When she got up to the porch she saw a note on the door.

"Put that dress on and the heels. Meet me out back in the barn. -B"

She swallowed hard. The dress wasn't something she normally would have picked out. But she made the mistake of saying something to Bobbi and Nat. They put her outfit together all the way down to her undergarments.
