THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT | SATZU

PROLOGUE

The aroma of the coffee coming from the kitchen makes the sleeping man woke from his bed. It's just 5:26 in the morning, yet Tzuyu went down to his room to check who's at the kitchen.

"You're awake." His girlfriend Elkie said and kisses his lips as soon as Tzuyu went close to her. "It's too early to wake up babe. Why are you so early?" He asked and the latter just giggle at him. "I don't know why I woke up this early, but I can't go back to sleep." Elkie explained. The two lovers cuddled at the kitchen until they had a hot moment.

"Where are we going babe? Can I remove this blindfold now? I can't see anything." Elkie complains like a kid, but Tzuyu just chuckle and guides her from walking.

"Here we are." Tzuyu said and removed the blindfold from Elkie's eyes.

Elkie held her mouth, can't believe what she's seeing right now. A big banner with a "WILL YOU MARRY ME" sign on it. She then faces Tzuyu and tears fell from her eyes. Tzuyu kneel down that made Elkie cry even more. "Will you marry me?" Tzuyu asked with a ring on his hand.

"Yes, yes Tzuyu I will marry you." Tzuyu then smiled widely and stood up to put the ring on Elkie's finger. After that Tzuyu kisses Elkie's forehead and hugs the latter.

One week later...

"Tzuyu I think we need to go to the grocery store. We're running out of foods in the fridge." Elkie said while fixing the plates on the dishwasher. "Okay babe, fix yourself and we'll go at the grocery store." Tzuyu replied and stopped what he's doing right away.

"Okay, wait for me. I'll just change my clothes."

The two lovers were walking at the side road while going to the grocery store. They don't bring their car and it's because they want to cherish their lovely moment together.

Little did they know that this was their last moment together.

While walking, Elkie saw a kitten at the road. Elkie pity the kitten so she went on the road to get the kitten. Tzuyu smiles at the latter and put his hands on his pocket while watching Elkie pick the kitten.

*Beeeeepppppp*

Tzuyu look at the vehicle that horns really loud and it widen his eyes. He's about to help Elkie but it's too late

A truck out of break coming from the other side hits Elkie really hard.

"ELKIEEEE!" Tzuyu went to where Elkie is. Seeing her broken leg and arm, the people around gather up to see the accident happened today.

Tzuyu cried even more, blaming himself for what just happened to Elkie.

"WHY ARE Y'ALL JUST LOOKING THERE?! CALL AN AMBULANCE" Tzuyu shouts out of frustration.

"Elkie I love you." That was the last sentence that Tzuyu said to Elkie.
