3rd Person POV:

Y/N sighed as she sat at her computer. Merlin was off at the store for a little bit and she was left to work on her newest book. She was writing a series 'The Arthurian Chronicles'. Y/N was currently working on the final book 'Mordred's Revenge'. All of them true stories, of course.

She stared blankly at the words on her screen.

Mordred thrust the sword forward, piercing  the skin of the once and future king. Getting the revenge for the atrocities committed by that of his father. Breaking the heart of the one who loved him.

Y/N wasn't sure if she could write this. She loved Mordred more than anything. But, he had killed Arthur. Y/N didn't know what to do so she closed the laptop. She went to the kitchen and made herself a mug of hot chocolate.

As she finished stirring the drink the house began to shake. Soft ripples moving over the surface of the drink. Merlin entered as the tremor stopped.

"What was that?" Y/N asked softly

"I don't know,"Merlin replied, "Are you okay?"

"I don't think I can write this book, Merlin." Y/N sighed, "I don't think I can write about what Mordred did. Not what he really did, because lying to everyone would be so much easier for me."

"Y/N.... Mordred killed Arthur."

Y/N looked sadly at the counter, "I know."

The doorbell rang and Y/N commented that she'd get it. Once she opened the door she wished she hadn't it was their friends. Arthur, Gwen, Gaius, Lancelot, Elyan, Percival, Gwaine, and.... Mordred.

"Merlin!" Y/N called

Merlin jogged up behind her and saw everyone. He pushed past her and pulled Arthur in for a tight hug.

Y/N sighed, "Uhm, come on in everyone."

Merlin walked in with a Arthur while the others spared her passing glances as they entered. Mordred stopped next to her.

"Hello, Mordred." Y/N said quietly

"Hello, Love." Mordred replied, matching her tone

"Please don't call me that."

Mordred's eyes hit the floor.

"It's not very modern to call me 'love'."Y/N sighed as she continued, "I'll catch you up on proper dating standards for the 21st century."

Mordred smiles and reached out taking her hand. They walked into the sitting room together. Merlin glared heavily at Mordred.

"Merlin, stop that." Y/N snapped, "Had you not told Arthur where Kara was, Mordred wouldn't have joined Morgan's. this was your fault."

They all looked at her. Merlin spluttered a little bit. Mordred chuckled at how much influence his love had over the great Emrys.

"Now I can finally write a happy ending for that book, Merlin!"Y/N cheered, "I'm going to rename it,too! 'The Arthurian Chronicles: Emrys's Eternity'!"
