Mordred x Reader

3rd Person POV:

Mordred sighed as he listened to Gwaine and Percival.

"If you want to woo Y/N then you have to be confident." Gwaine said, "Almost arrogant."

Percival nodded, "Yeah, Gwaine's right."

Mordred quirked an eyebrow, "I don't know, guys."

Gwaine slung his arm around Mordred's shoulder.

"Well, don't worry because we do."

~Time Skip~

Mordred shook his head a little as Y/N walked toward the training field with her basket. She was going to refill the water skeins. 

Y/N smiled as she approached the knights.

"Hello, boys." She said sweetly

There was a chorus of 'hello's' and 'hi, Y/N.'. Y/N plopped the skeins into her basket and as she started to walk off Mordred jogged to catch up with her. He lightly took the basket from her.

"Here, let me help you with that." Mordred said

"Thank you, Mordred." Y/N smiled, "That's very sweet of you."

Once they'd filled the skeins, Y/N ran off back to her duties before Mordred could ask her anything.

~Time Skip~

Mordred was sat before Arthur, Leon, Elyan, Lancelot, and Merlin. Gwen was stood next to her husband.

"You have to be kind." Leon started, "She's very sweet, she'll appreciate you're kindness."

"You need to be tough, women love tough men."  Arthur continued

"I don't know much about women." Elyan admitted

Lancelot face palmed at his fellow knights. Merlin had his face in his hands. And Gwen looked very exasperated.

"All right," Gwen said, "All of you out."

Gwen ushered Elyan, Arthur, and Leon out of the room. Leaving Mordred, Merlin, Lancelot, and herself.

"Mordred, Y/N thinks you're very sweet and kind. She likes you just how you are." Gwen started

"She talks about you non-stop." Lancelot confirmed

"You're perfect to her." Merlin continued

"Just be you." Gwen finished

~Time Skip~

It was a ball, the knights dressed fancily. Arthur and Gwen looking as radiant as ever. Merlin was even dressed up. But, Mordred didn't care about any of that. His eyes were focused on Y/N. She was in a beautiful purple dress.

Mordred made his way through the ballroom to her. His eyes were shining at her beauty. Y/N saw him and set down her pitcher. She hiked up her skirt a bit and met him halfway.

"You look beautiful." Mordred complimented breathlessly

Y/N blushed, "Thank you. You look handsome."

Mordred extended a hand for  her to take. When she did he pulled her close and started dancing with her.

"I have a question for you." Mordred said

Y/N smiled, "What is it, Mordred?"

"May I court you?"

Y/N almost started crying, but she pulled him in and kissed him softly.

"Yes. You may." Y/N said as she rested her forehead on his
