Both the men had their eyes on me, at least I think they did. It was kind of hard to tell with those helmets, masks whatever they were. One was holding Martha with a gun pointed at her while the other was pointing one at Jayden who was laying on the floor and bleeding?! Was he the one that got shot and shouted at Zabi? His shoulder was covered in blood, hopefully, there wasn't too much damage.
The sound of a gun being cocked tore my attention from him and back to the man holding Martha. It had a scope so unless that thing was off and I didn't move, this guy wasn't going to miss! I brace myself on the wall to move but then Martha swung her elbow into the guy's chin, sending him to the floor and causing him to miss his mark. Dang, she has a good arm! Seeing movement in the corner of my eye, I changed targets.
"You'll pay for that!" The other man aimed his gun at Martha. I lunged and tackled him! Taring the gun out of his hand as we fly through the air, I see the men before charging into the room. Turning sharply, I threw the man into the others, sending all to the floor.
"Bullseye!" I shout. Then I turned to Martha and the others. "Get as many people in here outside as you can. I'll keep them occupied!" Without another word I fly back to the wall and launched myself again, barreling toward them. Somehow a hand full of them got knocked out while the others stood up. I grabbed their shirts and had three men dangling from each hand. Dang! Each of these guys had to have weighed at least 200 pounds each, but it was like I was carrying couch pillows! Despite the situation, this was awesome! I fly up toward to ceiling as they struggled against my grasp. I look around to make sure there aren't any more of these guys in here. Only to see them looking at the wall where the door of the break room was!
Pushing myself off once more, I dive for them. There were only two of them thankfully and they were soon added to my collection.
"Sorry guys but you're coming with me!" Darting down the hall I head to the one place that these are needed the most. The employees only section.
The three were crowding Zabi around the door and what looked like a number panel.
"Hey boys!" I said. All their heads turned and Zabi's mouth dropped. "Brought something for ya!" I spin around and around until I finally let go, sending them into the others. Zabi jumped out of the way as I let go. I flew over and kicked the cover on the number pad down. I didn't want to land because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to fly again. The panel slid into the wall and was covered by a small sliding door. The first man roared in anger when he saw what I'd done. Apparently, it was hard to get to. Zabi sat up and stared at me. Thinking quickly, I grabbed under Zabi's arms and took off down the hall with him screaming and clinging to my arms.
"Get them!" The first man bellowed. Good thing he was at the bottom of the pile!
"W-Who are -you?! W-What are you?!" Zabi shouted at me. I looked down to find he was looking up. I smiled at him as we flew down the halls.
"Just your average aspiring hero," I said. As we entered the main hall, I slowed down and put him down. To my surprise, there were still a bunch of people from the first and second floors that were evacuating.
"Head outside," I told him.
"But I have to find Martha! And Jayden, where's Jayden?!" He said, looking around in a panic.
"Other people wearing the same vest? One was a man shot in the shoulder, the other a woman with short brown hair?"
"Y-Yes that's them! Where are they?!"
"I asked her to take as many outside as she could, and since the guy's not still on the floor, they're probably still outside. That's where you should be too."
