"Well, it's official ladies, Paul McCartney will soon be an unavailable man as he and girlfriend model and actress Jane Asher have announced their plans to marry."

I hear on the radio on my way to a casting call.
My heart drops and I am almost frozen in surprise.
Sometimes I wonder what it would've been like if I didn't break up with him.
After that night at the Moonlight Lounge, he came over to my apartment and had a huge falling out which led us to our permanent separate ways.
I tried for months to justify the true reason for our separation.
We always seemed to disagree with things.
Actually, the "things" we're aways just about Jane.
Other than her, we got along perfectly.
I really loved him.
I didn't know why we just couldn't live in unity.

I have been seeing Neal since and he's been great to me.
He has been nothing but kind and supportive.
He's different than the others even though sometimes he seems a little too perfect.

I get lost in my thoughts until I finally arrive at the casting center.
So far, I've been in about 4 magazines.
I've had a wonderful time.
As I sit and wait I notice two people looking over at me and whispering.
I can't make out what they're saying but it makes me nervous.
The man calls me into his office.
I almost stumble on my way in from how shy I feel.
As soon as I walk into his office he immediately starts to question me

"Where have I seen you before?"

"Well, I was in Biba, I was also in Maybelline"

"Biba . . . Biba that's right."

"How long have you been modeling?"

"About 5- almost 6 months."

"6 months and you've already landed Biba? Well you must be something"

"Thank you, Mr . . . Ummm."

"Davies, everyone just calls me Arlo. I like your style. How well are you on cover spreads?"

"Well Arlo, I don't know. . . Six months isn't a lot of time"

"Who manages you?"

"No one I suppose"

"Well, I do now and you just gave me the wrong answer."

"I'm sorry, what were you asking?"

"The question doesn't matter, the answer is to always be confident and to always sell yourself more than what you even know you're capable of.
Actually, there may be something special for you but you may have to keep it a secret."

"I can keep a secret"

"Alright, im trusting you . . ."

"Ms. Clark, Evie. Call me Evie."

"No, I don't like that, How do you spell your name?"

"E-V-I-E"

"What about Eve?"
