Chapter 2

Percy's POV

I'm currently sitting on my bed in my cabin staring at my hands waiting on my aunt to pick me up. We lost a lot during that battle-

Leo, he was one of my best friends afterward I was told he drowned along with calypso. I remember his crazy fun antics when he wasn't in his lab, his bright personality who would try to make a bad or sad moment better to lift other's spirits even if his don't.

Frank and hazel a few more of the prophecy. Hazel was killed after she was cornered by drakons who she almost beat but didn't succeed. Frank saw it and quickly killed the drakon before he was pierced through the heart by a horn of a Minotaur.

Piper and hazel nobody knows how they died their wounds both kinda mixed to one.

Reyna was killed off by furies.

And Annabeth well she was my best friend, she was there for me when my journey as a demigod had just started and helped me along the way she was strangled by Gaea herself before I could save her.

Only two of the seven survived and that was myself and Jason oh god Jason I probably would have gone insane if it weren't for him.

He's my light at the end of the tunnel. He's my guardian angel who I could trust with my life. He's the prince to save me from the tower. And I would do anything for him and he would do the same.

I love him.

It's really that simple.

I'm interrupted from my thoughts by a knock on my door after yelling for them to come in I see my boyfriend walk through instantly make a smile appear on my face.

" Hey, Percy your aunt is here you ready."  He says as he leans on the door frame.

" yah I'm just thinking of how these last few days went"

"Understandable" he walks over to sit next to me on the bed and throws an arm around me. "A lot has happened and our lives will be different without them but please if you need anything I'll be at camp Jupiter and you can im me anytime I'll always be there for you ok"

I take a deep breath before looking at him with a small smile and nod "okay, we're in this together alright"

He softly nods before standing and pulling me up into a hug before grabbing my bags and walks out before I can protest.

Huffing but also hiding a smile I follow out the car to see my aunt may. Waving goodbye to a few stray campers as I already said it to Nico and Thalia earlier so I don't need to worry about that.

We reach the car he places the bags in the trunk then turns to see me leaning against the car with an amused smirk he chuckles before giving me a final hug and kiss on the head and reminding me to call him when we get home.

Smiling I look up at him and whisper ok I was about to say something else when my aunt may honks the horn and tells is to hurry up.

Giving one last squeeze we separate then he turns and walks back to camp but not before sending one last wink my way.

Me and may-wait don't come for me- May and I talked the whole ride home about how she and Peter were doing I tried I avoid what I did as much as possible.

We reach the apartment and I rush out and grab my bags so I can see my brother. I really missed him may while I was gone. I hear may chuckle then she starts walking behind to the elevator I slightly hesitate but remembering the building doesn't have stairs I walk in.

I tap my foot and twirl my pen through my fingers as the elevator ascends to our floor. May watches amused.

"you excited to see your brother?" she asked with a small smirk and raised an eyebrow.

As I'm about to answer the doors open, I look seeing as that is us and rush out almost forgetting my bags making may chuckle a bit.

I definitely haven't been this happy since- no no don't think about it keep the good mood for now at least.

May opens the door and I'm greeted by my smiling big brother in front of me with his arms wide open.

I look at him for a split second before I'm in his arms, he chuckles before backing out of the hug and helps me with my bags without letting my protest.

"I'm not a baby" I mumble hoping he won't hear but he sadly does and shakes his head with a smile.

We walk into our shared room and I start unpacking and my thoughts go back to the battle a few days ago.

Small time skip

Turns out may enrolled me into midtown high so I've been going there for a few weeks. I got to meet his friends Ned and mj me and her get along better than Ned and I because we are more quiet lad back people I guess.

Also with these few weeks I've joined the swim team I found out Peter is Spider-Man so well I don't really know what think about it but he can do what he wants. He doesn't know that I know I'll let him tell me when he's ready.

it's gotten weirder. * awkward silence* coughs lightly into hand* well anyway how is life.
