Mr. Frank Wallace P.O.V

"We have a new neighbor" I said to my wife, Jess. She nodded as she cradled our newborn, Greta, our 2-year-old Ben sleeping on her back. "Let's just hope they're nice" she replied. Our last neighbors made every opportunity to make fun of the fact that we were poor in a rich community before moving to Texas.

The next day

I sat outside on the deck, watching 2 women and 5 children unloading stuff off the back of a truck, occasionally calling things out like "Thank Tyche for this truck Leo gave us!" "Holy Nemesis, this is heavy!" and " Oh my gods. Ivan, get this thing off of me!". Their way of speech was weird, like, gods, plural? And weren't Nemesis and Tyche Greek goddesses? I also noticed a few had accents. The woman with extremely brown skin and equally brown eyes had a thick Spanish one, while the red headed green eyed girl beside her had a Scottish accent. The boy, Ivan, had a slight Russian accent and black hair with purple and green eyes. He was also the only male of the group, although he didn't seem bothered by that, helping his younger sisters with the heavier boxes.
