Percy stood up and clamped his hand around my wrist, frog-marching me back to the Girl's room. Will followed, a stethoscope hanging out of his pocket. When I got into the room, I saw the others were already ready. Nico had on a black aviator jacket. He hung off the bathroom door, looking bored. Annabeth hadn't taken off her jacket, so she had been ready a long time ago. Reyna had taken off her cape and had a purple leather jacket on. Thalia just wore what she had. Percy let go of my arm and whispered to Annabeth. She sat up, her eyes blazing. Immediately, Thalia, Will, Reyna, and Nico were on top of her. Percy just looked amused. He turned to me. C'mon. While Wisegirl cools off, let's go" he walked to the window. "Wait! I-I don't know how to climb through a window" I said, stuttering a bit. He flicked his cigar out, grabbed Thalia's, and threw that out to. Then he turned to me. "Just jump. I'll catch you if needed, but use your instincts" I nodded, feeling a bit nervous. Suddenly, Hedwig hooted from my closet. I cursed, and palmed my wand, reciting the Obliviate curse in my head. But they didn't look suspicious or shocked. Everyone had gotten off of Annabeth, and her eyes looked like gray lightbulbs "You have an owl?" I nodded warily. She jumped up and flung open the closet door. She spotted Hedwig and started cooing. I turned back to Percy "Are you used to having an owl, or..." I trailed off. "Well, for starters, my friend Piper has an enormous snake, her boyfriend Jason has an Eagle, Thalia has an entire pack of wolves, I have a crap ton of fish, Reyna has two greyhounds, and Annabeth owns an owl. So yeah, pretty normal. My friend, Lou Ellen, and her half-siblings, also have owls"
