"We can't even win when we cheat! I mean stupid cake-eater tricks!" Jesse's voice was furious but it was nothin' at all even close to Coach Bombay's.

"That was embarrassing." Connie muttered and Sierra slammed her fist into the lockers, and Bombay stormed into the locker room, goin' straight for Charlie.

"Charlie! What the hell is the matter with you?! When I tell you to do any thing, somethin', you do it! You got it?"

Bombay shouted at her little brother and Sierra stormed over to him.

"You cannot make us cheat the game, Bombay! You are right, that I cannot... carry the entire team! But... your right to coach us, doesn't include control of everything, over everythin' that we do around here!" She shouts and he looks at her.

"You can't make me cheat." Charlie spat at him, as he and Sierra walked out of the locker room together, with Sierra, carrying her stick, underneath her arm.

She was practicing until well after dusk on the rink, as their Zamboni driver at the rink trusted her with a set of keys now, as he knew she was always gonna lock up behind her.

"Hey." She looks up quickly, as she wipes her forehead with a towel, and shakes her head at the sight of Banks.

"What do you want? Come to finish what you and your boys just started the other day after the game?" She'd put the towel to the side and skate to the center ice again, lining up more of the pucks on the line.

"I didn't agree with that. Any of it, really." He says to her as he laced up his skates and she shakes her head.

"I hope that you don't actually expect me to believe that, Banks. You are the breakout player, on the Hawks. I can't trust anyone but my team." She said.

"Your team?" He asked and she looks up as he scoffs at the term, pulling out his stick from his bag. "Sorry, that was rude. Can I shoot a few of 'em?" He asked her and she shrugged and shot three quickly into the nets.

"Do you ever miss?" He asked as he shot most of them in, but still missed a couple of the last ones, and she looked down slightly.

"Used to. But I practiced hard, I studied up on everything that I could and I became the first District 5 team, Pee-Wee player." She said and he nods at her.

"Have you ever thought, about moving to another team? One where your goals don't end up carrying your entire time? Where everyone, doesn't, have to depend on you completely?"

He asked as they skated around the rink, collecting all of the pucks as she sighed. "I couldn't leave my brother or our friends. They need a leader. Our coach is an asshole, and they all trust in me. It's how it's always been." She'd finish grabbing the pucks with a sigh.

"You need a hand locking up?" He asked after they had finished putting away the pucks, the nets, and the rest of the equipment.

"Oh, give me a break, Banks for the love of god. I've been locking up here since I was 9." She said and he raises a eyebrow at her. "Sorry, I'm tired." She said and he nodded.

"Adam." He said as she locked up the doors and she looks at him, eyebrows now mirroring his, from before. "You want to keep calling me Banks, that is fine. But my name's Adam." He said as she tucked the keys into her bag.

"Sierra Conway." She said as they walked their own separate ways, to get home.

She walked in the back door and Charlie hugs her quickly, and swiftly she raised eyebrows.

She walked with him, her bag still over her shoulder and saw that Coach Bombay was in the living room of their house, looking more then just a little ashamed.

After he apologized to them, the entire team was charging into Hans' shop and Sierra as usual, was the only calm and collected one of them all.

"Si! Check this out!" Charlie calls and he gave her a brand new looking stick and she shakes her head.

"Cool, but I've got a stick. And, it works for me." She said, placing it back on the shelf and going to find herself some gear and gloves.
