At the next practice, they were all decked out in their new jersies, their new gloves and plenty of them, they'd have gotten, all now some brand new hockey sticks.

"Go! Go! Side to side. Shift your weight." Bombay was calling out as the team skated through the cones as Sierra swiftly outmatched all of them.

"Copy S. Conway! She has got it all nailed down, all of you, copy her!" He calls and Sierra began setting up more then just one line of cones, all around, the rink.

"That's okay, Charlie." Bombay says to him as he toppled over quickly and as Sierra skated over to her brother, he'd get up with aid from her.

"Soft hands." Bombay insisted now to them all, as he held up raw eggs and a bunch of full cartons were on the ice.

"Oh great." Sierra says and immediately got egg splattered all over her from Goldberg and his hands that were not at all soft on the puck or an egg for that matter. "Goldberg I am going to kill you one of these days." A growl came from her.

"You don't stop the pass. You accept it, as if it was one of your own. You have to cradle it." He said, as then, they had spent a lot of their ice time with their eggs and 'soft hands practice' as Coach Bombay had christened it.

Now Goldberg was tied securely to the net so that everyone on the team including Bombay was shooting pucks at him, to teach him, to overcome, his rather ridiculous fear of being hit by a puck.

After practice, Coach Bombay had given Charlie a ride home, while she was still at the rink practicin' again as always, and she wasn't even surprised when Adam laces up his skates and he skated in circles around her.

Like he had done every week coincidentally since Coach Bombay had shown up to coach them.

"You know, you're out here every night without fail. Do your parents not get worried?" He asked and then to both of their surprise, the shot hit the post and missed the goal.

Sierra shook her head quickly as she pulled her helmet off of her head and wiped her forehead.

"My mom knows better now then to think that she will be able to convince me to come home before I'm ready. As for my dad... he isn't around." She said and put her helmet to the side and she fired a puck into the goal quickly.

"You wanna play one on one?" He asked and she smirked slightly and grabbed her helmet, pulling it on her head fast.

"You're on Banks, just don't you start going around town cryin' if I beat you into next week." She said and he looks at her.

"I've got a condition for this round though." He said and she raised an eyebrow at him.

"All right, pretty boy Banks. What's your condition?" She asks as he looks at her, surprised a fair amount at her daring attitude.

"Go out with me, if I beat you in this one on one. First to 5 goals." He said a bit of a mischievous tone in his voice.

"Done. If I win, you have to back off away from my brother and our team when you're off the ice. Indefinitely."

She said and he looked at her. "I can't promise for my whole team..." He said and she shakes her head at him.

"I know and that is not what I'm asking of you, Adam." She said and he looks at her with raised eyebrows and she shakes her head. "I'm just asking that you stay away from my team off the ice." She muttered and he nodded.

"Deal." He said and she nodded and they both pulled their helmets down over their eyes and the game began.

The first goal, it was scored by Sierra but Adam caught up and ended up to win.

Sierra looked at the scoreboard that they had made out of scratching their sticks into the ice.

He had five and she had four. She pulled off her helmet and he looked at her. "Good game." He said, stickin' out his hand to her which she shook. "You don't need to worry about me messing with your team anyways. I didn't even want to join in, but they dragged me. I was gonna stay back anyways." He said and she looked at him.

"You wanna help me lock up?" She asked with a grin and he laughs at her with a grin of his own.

"Sure." He said as she picked up the bag and then he began to fire them all puck after puck into the unzipped bag and she laughed as one hit her in the shin and he winced. "Sorry." He says to her as she locked the doors, and he was still apologizing.

"Seriously, Banks, it's totally fine. It won't even bruise, I promise you." She says and he looks at her.

"Night Sierra." He said, hoisting his hockey bag and his stick quickly over his shoulder and she nodded.

"See ya Adam." She murmured with a smile as she turns around and walked away.
