They were all warming up on the ice now and Sierra was goin' around with her eyes blazing with a fierce fire and she was ready now.

"They didn't tell me until it was too late. Sierra, I swear." Adam said as he skated up to her, and she shakes her head. "Sierra, Charlie, believe me." He said and Sierra nods, but Charlie was another story entirely.

"Yeah, right, preppy." Charlie said as Sierra looked at Adam, seeing his face flash with pain, and Sierra looks over at Adam again, and he nods slightly.

Charlie was at center ice with the Captain of Varsity. "First to ten, full check." He said coldly.

"Bring it on." Charlie said as immediately after they banged their sticks together, Charlie was knocked onto the ground.

Sierra stole the puck and managed to score the first goal, for the Ducks, but a second later Varsity had already just scored twice on the Ducks.

Then suddenly everyone was fighting and both Charlie and now Adam were right in the damn middle of it.

"Stop it!" Sierra shouted as then suddenly she calls out and she began making duck calls loudly.

The Ducks began to back off for the most part, but Charlie, he was another story entirely, and he, was now still attacking Adam full-out.

Sierra dove forward and grabbed her twin brother in a hold, fishtailing him to the side, successfully gettin' him off of Adam.

Charlie, without thinking, he swung out his stick and slammed the person who was on his back with it.

Sierra released him and tumbled away, as her helmet had flown off when her head had been smacked by the stick.

"Oh, my god, Sierra!" Charlie was saying as Sierra groaned, lying on the ice as she held her head.

Adam skated over to both of the Conway siblings, crouching next to Sierra, who was somehow still awake and conscious.

Everyone else was fighting, but now Sierra was on the ground, as the two of them were kneeling around her.

Coach Orion came into the rink and got everyone other then the Ducks out of the rink, except for Adam who had refused to leave Sierra, who was now looking sick.

"Get her to the hospital and you keep me updated. Understood?" Orion asks and Adam nodded quickly.

He helped Sierra up and they half skated, half stumbled off of the ice and found that the rest of Varsity had already called an ambulance for her.

Sierra was in the hospital after the scans had been completed now as she was lying in the hospital bed.

Adam knocked on the door gently as Sierra groaned under her breath and he smiled sadly at her. "Hey." He said as he walked into the room, sitting on the end of her hospital bed, and, now he was reaching for her hand.

"I'm sorry." He said and she looked at him, shakin' her head slightly and she groaned at the movement. "Hey, don't hurt yourself more." He whispers and she looked at him.

"Is Charlie... is he here?" She asked and he shakes his head quietly at her and she leaned her head back against the pillow, just as tears, began leaking down her face. "I took his captain spot and for that, he has every right to hate me." She whispered.

"No. No, no, no. You're wrong, Sierra Conway. He's jealous because Coach, a legend, gave it to you right away." He said and she looks at him, and he hugs her gently.

An awkward cough and clearing from the throat emerged from the corner of the room. "I'm so sorry to interrupt, in this instance of time, but, your results, they came back." The nurse said and Adam read the sheet and Sierra looks over at him.

"So how badly is my head screwed up?" She asked quietly and he looked at her.

"Pretty bad. You have got a mild concussion. The symptoms won't be able to be seen for a couple days, so I think that they want you to go home."

Adam said as he read through the sheets and Sierra sighed a bit with relief. "Is my mom here?" She asked quietly and he shakes his head.

"She had to work overtime again as you know but my dad actually offered to drive you home. If you do actually want a ride, that is." He said, and she sighed quietly.

"Thanks Adam, that would be awesome." She murmured as he helped her sit up and slid into her shoes, which were runners. She looks extremely embarrassed as he tied her shoes up quickly.

"Can we just get out of here? I hate hospitals." She mumbled and he nods, as they both walked steadily out of the hospital and by the time they had gotten to his father's car, Sierra was pretty much asleep on her feet.
