Fortunate events

Were in deep shit

Draco woke up with the biggest headache he had in year's. He sat up and looked around. They were lying in the middle of a clearing, wood's surrounding them. Draco was about to get up and wake up his sister, when he saw that she wasn't there, half of their group wasn't there. He started to panic, so he did the most logical thing, woke up the person he kinda trusted the most now "Potter, Potter! Wake up!" Harry quickly opened his eye's and sat up straight, hitting the unsuspected Draco in the nose. "The hell you git!" Harry shouted at the Malfoy, while he was rubbing his head from the pain. As Draco did the same he tried to explain "Look around you dimwit, then you'll know why i woke you up" Harry looked around and noticed that half of their group was missing. He stood up to stand by Draco "The hell happened when we blacked out?" Harry asked no one in particular, but of course Draco had to answer "What do you think Potter. Santa came and took the bad children?" Harry roled his eye's at the sarcastic Malfoy and went to wake everyone up, including the two female's he dearly disliked. When everyone was somewhat awake Harry acknowledge who was left with him. For one he was glad Amelia and Neville were here, but on the other hand he had Malfoy, Parkinson and Ginny to deal with. "Okay for one, what happened to the rest of us" Draco asked, more like demanded for an answer. "We don't know for sure, didn't we all black out or something?" Amelia asked a better question. All of them nodded, except for Draco. He excused him self from the group and went to sit by a small tree. "Hey guy's think of at least where we should start looking for our friend's, im gonna go check up on him" Before Ginny and Pansy could argue the two other's nodded and took the girl's attention's away from the boy's to the plan, while Harry made his way to Draco. As if sensing who was there Draco sneered "What do you want now Potter?" He asked with his snarky voice. For once Harry ignored his tone and sat down next to him "it's normal for you to be worried about your sister" Draco sneered again and turned away from the boy "You don't know what your talking about" Harry signed and leaned forward, putting his hand's on his knee's "Maybe. Maybe not. But i do know the look of worry Malfoy, im not stupid" 'You sure Potter?' Draco thought, but even he knew he was wrong. He never though that Harry was stupid, or dumb for that matter, but he still hated the black haired male, since he thought that if your famous and shit you could do anything you want. Draco was cut out of his thoughts as he saw Potter walking away, and the group gesturing for Draco to do the same. with one last sight from the blonde, he made his way to the group. "We decided to walk sought. Since i'v heard Hermione's smarter then she look's she will probably go north, and judging by the wood's west and east wouldn't lead us no where" Everyone looked surprised at Amelia, well except for Neville since he helped her figure this out. "Well then we should probably get a move on before it's dark. The faster were back with our group, the faster we can go back" Harry said as he took his place by Amelia's side in walking, Neville taking the other. That meant Draco had to stay behind with the two annoying female's. One of them clung on to his arm while the other glared at him. Finally one of them spoke "I don't know what Harry sees in you" Ginny said as she crossed her arm's and looked at the back of Harry's head. Before Draco could talk Pansy piped up "Do you really think Potter would like this hunk of a guy? Hah, don't be funny. Harry's nothing compared to Dray" All of a sudden the two female's started to argue. Harry overheard and turned his head to see Draco suffering. He was thinking about leaving the Malfoy be, but then he though of what if he did that. He wouldn't be any better then he was. With his action in mind he turned his head back to Draco "Hey Malfoy come here, i have to discuss something with you" Draco, looking confused as ever, excused himself from Pansy, who was now glaring at Harry, and made his way to him "What do you need now Potter? Want me to kiss your backside or something?" Draco said sarcastically again. Harry kinda regretted it now "No you buffoon. I just wanted to spare your sanity" Harry said as he turned his head to look at the females arguing, again. Draco looked shocked at the boy "And why would you do that? There must be a catch" Harry rolled his eye's and turned back to look at the blonde "There is no catch, Malfoy" And with that their conversation ended. Now the only thing the group heard were the two female's.

The group didn't even notice how it was getting darker. They swore the time here was going faster then it should. They collected some stick's and lit a fire. As the two female's fell asleep first, since they wasted their whole energy on arguing, the four left could take a break "Remind me when we get back to never let them cross paths" Harry said as he sat down near the fire, exhausted. Amelia giggled and sat next to him "Note taken" The two other boy's joined them. They sat in silence until the fire was getting smaller, so Amelia and Neville decided to leave the two rival's alone for a bit. As Harry and Draco sat silent next to each other and watched the fire, Draco finally decided to speak "Thanks for earlier" Harry without looking away replied "No problem" Then the silence came back. Draco sighed and just spilled everything "I have just been so worried for Ruby the whole day. She is the only one in the family who show's me any sort of love, and im always happy when i come back home for summer brake's because i get to see her" Harry finally turned to look at the Malfoy, seeing a new side to the boy Harry didn't know existed. "It's okay Malfoy, i understand. Family is family, how can you not worry about them" Draco turned to look at Harry with a smirk "You know i still hate you right?" Harry rolled his eye's, and with a smile replied "You git" Harry knew that nothing changed tonight with Draco, but at least now he know's how deeply he care's for his sister.

*Bonus*

When Amelia and Neville went to grab some stick's, Neville felt somewhat nervous. Amelia sensed that and went up to the boy "Hey you don't need to be nervous, everything will be fine" Neville smiled at the girl and went to picking stick's again. He wasn't nervous of the event's happening, he was nervous because of the girl. He has seen her in the hall's, but he never talked with her, so he just found this very awkward, and so with that he got nervous. When they gathered enough stick's they made their way back. When they got back they saw the two boy's sleeping near the fire, unknowing to them their hand's were touching. Amelia saw that and gestured for Neville to look "I bet you two gallons that these two will come out of this as lover's" Neville felt nervous again, so he just agreed with the female and they shook on it. After making sure that the fire will not go out they went to sleep themselves, but what they didn't know is that there was a pair of eye's staring at them, not attacking since the bodies were near fire. So the creature was just lying low, until morning, when their prey could be attacked.
