Fortunate events

The fortress

Amelia was the first one to wake up. She looked to her side at the now dead fire. Then she turned her head to look at the sky, full of clouds with no shape. She decided that more rest would be good for her, so she turned to her side to fall asleep again, when she spoted a wall of scales in front of her. Feeling confused she sat up, and was met face to face with the same snake which tried to kill her and her friends. She froze up, looking at the snake just staring at her. She turned her head a little, to spot what the snake was doing. Around her and her friends was a scale wall that the anaconda created. She felt confused by this. Amelia turned back to look at the snake, but by now it was no longer facing her. The anaconda was looking around, as if it was searching for something, or rather someone. Amelia used that time and quickly made her way to Harry, shaking him awake "Harry. Harry! Wake up! The snakes here" Harry opened his eyes and sat up. He froze up at first when he spotted the snake, but then turned to look at his friend "Wake up the other's. And make sure Ron and Ginny wake up last" She nodded and scooted to the closest person to Harry, which was Hermione. Harry stood up and made his way to the snake, getting it's attention 'Good seeing you again, master' the snake hissed at Harry. 'What are you doing here?' Harry spoke with the large snake 'I came here to protect you' 'From what' 'him' before Harry could ask what he meant by 'him' Ron's creams cut him off. Harry turned around, only to see Hermione slapping him and telling him to shut up. The boy turned back to the snake 'Who is he?' 'The ancient one, who is said to turn everyone to stone on it's day' Harry's eyes widen. He turned around to look at the others "Amelia what is this book about?" the girl shrugged "I told you that i don't know" "The snake's speaking of someone who can turn anything to stone" Neville looked at him "That is probably the monster hes talking about" Harry raised his eyebrow at the boy as the snake got closer "It is told that no one came back from here because of it. It's a monster that awake's on a full moon. Many tired to get past it to get out, but were all unsuccessful, or so i heard" Neville answered. Draco but in "Does the snake know where his resting place is?" Harry turned to look at the snake 'Do you by chance know where the monster's fortress is?' 'I sure do master. My kind helped him awake many years ago' Harry winced but nodded and turned back to the others "It know's where we are suppose to go" Ruby sighed "Then i guess were on the move again" Everyone nodded. 

The snake un-raveled it's scales and the group started to move. Harry was walking by him self somewhere in the back, when Unina came to talk with him "Hey, are you okay? You look down. Did something happen with Draco yesterday?" Harry blushed and turned to look at her "How did you-" he started but was cut off by the girls chuckles "Amelia told me where you and Draco went off when i came back" Harry sighed and looked up ahead "You can tell me what's bothering you" Harry thought for a moment, before looking back at her again "Promise you won't tell anyone this" she nodded. Harry took in a breath "Well, yesterday me and Draco danced in a field. We were slow dancing, and then we looked at each other. At that moment i felt happier then ever. Happier then my first time in Hogwarts. Happier then when i flew my first broom. I just don't have any idea what im feeling anymore" Unina smiled at him and put her hand on the boys shoulder "That's called love Harry" the boy looked at her with shocked eyes "That can't be, are you okay?" the woman rolled her eyes "I am perfectly fine thank you. You are the one that isn't excepting his feelings" Harry glares at her, but she just looks at him with a bored expression "What? Am i wrong?" Harry was about to answer, when he re-thought what she said. He hated the fact that she was absolutely right "No..." she smiled as she pushed Harry's shoulder "Thought so" just then Harry pulled her into a hug "Thank's Uni" the girl was surprised, but chuckled as she hugged back "No problem" they parted. They were about to keep moving, when something swooped in and grabbed Unina, making the girl shout. Everyone stopped and ran back to where Harry was "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY DARLING" Harry groaned. "Oh boy" he whispered under his breath. Draco looked at Harry, and figured out who it was, while everyone else fell silent, well except for Cedric because it was his sister after all. "YOU FLYING BUG LET MY SISTER GO" "SHUT IT. NO ONE CAN SPEAK TO ME BUT MY LOVER" Harry sighed and put a hand onto Cedric's shoulder "I got this" He took in a breath, and shouted out "DILAN PUT THE GIRL DOWN" the dragon boy looked down, spotting his beloved and dived down. He landed and let the girl go, who immediately moved away from him and into her brothers arms, as Ruby hugged her sideways. "Harry, my love. I have heard of the monster and came right away to find you. I am so happy that you are alive" Dilan said as he got closer to Harry, leaning in for a kiss. Draco was boiling inside, and was about to let it all out on Dilan, but it wasn't needed. Harry slapped the dragon boy and backed away "1. I have not forgiven you for trying to take me away and 2. We aren't a thing, so don't even try and touch me" the boy looked hurt, but recovered rather quickly "Of course Harry. I will wait for you" Draco rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. He still wanted to rip the other boy's arm's off. "So your here to help us?" Pansy asked as the snake got closer to Harry "Yes my lady. I would do anything if it meant Harry was safe" Harry rolled his eyes and started to move "Good, then lets move" everyone started to move. "This is so bizarre" Ron complained. Hermione smacked him on top of the head "THIS is bizarre to you Ron" the boy rubbed his head as he nodded. Pansy was walking behind everyone else, so she could hear what Ginny was mumbling to her self. And of course it was about Harry again. She rolled her eyes as she came up to Cedric and Ruby "Can't we just leave her?" Pansy said as she gestured to the girl. Ruby chuckled "What did she do to you to make you hate her this much? And anyway, Ron wouldn't leave his sister here" Pansy sighed and looked defeated. Cedric pushed her side "Come on now, don't give up. We will probably lose her when we get back" by those word's Pansy seemed to relax. Now Ruby really wondered what did the red head do to make her friend like this.

The anaconda abruptly stopped 'Were here' it hissed at Harry. He moved from behind the snake and looked at the structure in front of him and his friends. 'Was it suppose to be hidden?' Harry hissed at the anaconda and it hissed back 'No' Harry shuddered and turned around to his friends. "Were here" Draco raised an eyebrow "Wasn't it suppose to be underground or something?" Harry turned back around and started to make his way to it "Apparently not." They moved closer to it, until Ruby spotted something "Guys wait" she whispered to the others. Everyone stopped and looked at her as she made her way to a archway "Ruby come back, we don't even know if it's safe" Cedric whispered, inching closer to his girlfriend. But she didn't listen. She wen't closer and closer to it "Ruby this isn't funny, stop moving forward" Draco stepped in. Harry gestured for everyone else to move to the archway too. Ruby stopped right in front of it "Ruby don't you dare-" Draco started, but it was too late. She stepped into it. She stood there for a couple of moments, and then proceeded to walk on forward. Everyone hurried to the archway, they they heard her shout "Hey guy's come here! You gotta see this!" Everyone quickly made their way from where they heard her voice. Her voice lead them to a fountain "You wanted us to see a fountain?" Ron questioned the girl. She shook her head and pointed her finger at it. Everyone came closer to it, leaning in to see what she was pointing at. When they saw why she called them over they froze. In the water reflection you could see the headmasters office, a black figure standing next to a light blue one. "No way" Blaise breathed out. "We have to get their attention somehow" He said as he took a rock, about to hit the water with it, when Hermione stopped him "Don't. It wont help. We have to throw in something that has magic. Or it won't reach them" "And we need something that makes a sound" Amelia agreed with Hermione. On the sidelines Pansy was thinking of what they could drop, until something clicked. She took off her necklace and ran up to the others "Guy's this mey work. It's a glass snowflake, and it has some sort of mist in it. My mother said it could heal a small scar. That's magic" Ginny but in "And what if it's not. You would brake a necklace, and possibly fuck everything up" Unina rolled her eyes "We don't have anything to lose" she replied. she took the necklace from Pansy and thew it into the fountain. It magically worked. The necklace went through and could be heard broken on the other end. The two figures looked their direction, and miraculously one of them spotted them. They quickly came up to the source, and by now the group could see that it was Professor Snape and Professor Dumbledore "kid's it is nice to-" Dumbledore started, but was cut off by Snape "Is Amelia with you" he sounded panicked, worried even. Amelia stepped forward and leaned in so her father could see her. Relief flashed onto his eyes. "Im alright father, but there is no time for this" Dumbledore nodded "Indeed. The monster will be awaken soon" "We know Professor. Neville told us that" Blaise answered him as he leaned into Unina, almost brushing up against her "Very well. We advise you don't do anything until we come" Dumbledore told the teens. "You can come here?" Ruby asked. Snape nodded "When it's midnight the book will open up a secret entry that will lead us right to the fortress. As Dumbledore said, dont do anything. Understood" he told them, with a stern tone in his voice. The teens nodded, and the fountain returned to how it was. They just stood there in silence, until Ron broke it "So, what will we do?" "Nothing. Didn't you hear Snape's command?" Amelia answered him. The golden trio looked at each other. "Oh brother" Draco whispered to himself. They will in fact do something.
