"Mom, this is the tenth mansion now. Can you just get me a house already? I wish I came with Sean. I'd be home relaxing in my new house now." I said irritated.

"Baby, you know I want the best for you right? And I am sure your father wouldn't have approved of the other nine." my mother defended.

"Somebody shoot me now!" I replied exhausted. "You weren't even checking, you just said, this one no... I don't like this one, this is too businesslike." I imitated my mother's previous drama. "You know what mama, I'm getting this one. And you can't talk me out of it now."

"Fine fine baby, just so you know, I like this one." She said smiling.

"Ooh thank the heavens. I'm calling Sean." I said as I dumped my bag in my bedroom.

"I'm ready for grandchildren now I guess." My mother shouted as I got on the phone with my boyfriend.

"Tell that to Nick and Reed mama, not me." I said chuckling.

After an awfully eventful day, I actually got time to talk to my boyfriend Sean. I updated him about all the things happening in my life and he did the same with his. It was our usual routine.

I needed to relax.

I filled the jacuzzi with warm water and soaked myself in it as I sipped my favourite wine.

After my bath, I went to bed but decided to check my phone first for anything new.

I was not a fan of social media that much but I enjoyed business. My mother wanted me to take over the Pierce Legend but I was not ready yet. I still wanted to discover 'the truth of the universe. ' I wanted to discover more of my passions despite my two degrees from Princeton.

I had a degree in law because my mother insisted I was to take over the Pierce Legend. I also had a degree in Engineering and Technology because I loved making and inventing new devices.

I had always dreamt of having a man like Sean in my life. When he asked me to be his girlfriend, it was a dream come true. We had so much in common. I have dreams of marrying him someday and waking up to the noise of little Leyla's and Sean's .
