I'm sorry guys if I took longer to update, I was completing my other book called The Other Side. Check it out as well. For most of you who are asking, I will be making the book under Mason's POV but if you have other suggestions please comment below.

Monday morning came quicker than expected. I was dressed in a black suit and had my hair gelled back professionally.

Damn, I looked like a billionaire.

I grabbed the bag that contained my laptop and made my way outside. Once I had my apartment locked, I hailed a cab and headed for the PL Inc in a bundle of nerves. I had been in worse conditions in war but this was a different kind of dread. I was afraid that anyone who looked at me would see through my lies and that would be the end of me.

"Are you okay sir?" The driver asked with concern etched on his old face.

Was I that obvious?

"Yes, it's just my first day at work that's why." I explained to him and he relaxed a bit. What had he expected to hear?

"Alright then. People say that the CEO there is so strict, I would be nervous too. You're going to PL Inc. right?" The driver asked again.

"Yeah. I'm sure I'll do just fine."

We reached the building way too soon and I paid the driver with a little tip. Its what I could manage.

Turning around to face the building, I was intimidated by its size. Even guns and grenades did not intimidate me this much. I collected myself together then made my way to the entrance. I walked up to the receptionist and asked her for further directions.

"Excuse me Miss, I am Mas...Mr. Collins Jordan and I am reporting for the HR department, could you direct me on where to go?" I asked her and held my breath due to my slip up. But the woman just kept checking me out. She dragged her eyes from my face to the muscles which were rippling out of my shirt.

I cleared my throat.

"Miss, did you hear what I said?" That brought her attention back to me and she blushed profusely.

"Take the elevator to the fifteenth floor room number G7, someone would be waiting for you there. Its Mr Jordan right?" The woman easily recollected herself and got back to work.

"Yes." I simply replied.

"Alright welcome to the PL Inc. Mr Jordan." She smiled cheerily and spared me a wink.

Was that even professional? I wondered to myself.

When the elevator came to a halt on the fifteenth floor, I came out and looked around like a lost puppy. To the furthest west, I spotted G5 and I knew G7 couldn't be that far away so I made my way towards. I was so engrossed in finding G7 that I knocked into someone who went down with a yelp.

Hurriedly, I helped her up and she looked at me apologetically.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." Her cheeks were tainted a little bit, probably from embarrassment. She was a stunning short woman, not very short, with warm chocolate eyes. As she straightened her pencil skirt from the creases caused by the fall, her eyes met mine and a look of recognition passed in them.

"You must be Mr Jordan," she said studying my features with a look I couldn't quite decipher.

"Yes, Ma'am." I shook her hand and recognized her voice almost immediately. She was the woman who had called me last Friday.
