RAIN ON ME

CHAPTER 1

Like every other day I woke up by the annoying noise of the alarm.

Fuck shutup!!!

I slam the alarm clock, regret my existence and get up for the daily schedule.

I get off the bed stretching and look at my three year old baby sleeping tight in the sheets.

If only I was a kid...I sigh and kiss her forehead before I leave to take a bath. I take a quick shower and wash my hair and wrap a towel around myself and my hair to soak the water, I go to Alexa and pat her.

"Al baby wake up it's your first day for school come on!! Up up up!"
And she wriggles groaning
Duh like She'd wake up in one try, she's my daughter after all
" Al wake up fast or no school for you!"
I say and she sits straight within a second making me chuckle at her cuteness. I lift her up and take her to the bathroom to give her a bath.

" Is my princess ready??!!!" I hear a voice from outside and I smile as I recognise who it is

" In here Sam!" I yell and after a few seconds I see Samaira come in

" SAMMY!!! YOU'RE HERE!!" Alexa screams excited and saimaira smiles leaning on the door

" Offcourse I'm here how can I miss your first day?!!"
And she nods excited splashing all the water on me

"Alexa!! Stop moving! You'll get the soap in your eyes!"
I say and she pouts

" Where's Viv?"

" She's convincing the boss to give us a half day but the crusty old lady won't listen!! Why!! Why is she like that us??!!"

She complains making me laugh

" I know right I'm so glad Kabir is back! It'll be fun working now. I missed him so much!! Glad he's back from Mexico." I say and she nods in agreement

I finish bathing Alexa and wrap a fuzzy towel around her taking her to the closet and Sam follows me, and I dress her up in a cute white top and denim shorts

" You guys coming at my place tonight right??"

" I don't know what about Al-"

" It's fine bring her over, we can have fun together!"
Sam says and Alexa runs towards her Hugging her leg

" Sammy is the best!!" She says making the both of us laugh

" Now I'm hurt Alexa how could you" we here Vivian's voice making us turn to her

" You're here"

" Yeah...dude we really need to do something about that old hag!!"
She says sitting on the beanbag frustrated,

" It's fine Kabir is going to replace her anyways"
Sam says and Vivian nods

" Much needed!! I'm so done with her!!"
She says and then picks Alexa up

" I'll do her hair today, go eat our breakfast I'll bring her down" she says winking at me

" Thanks love" I say before going down, I grab my file with the new case.

I was reading the file when my phone rings and I see the caller ID it's a unknown number

" Hello Prosecutor Romano here how can I help you?"
