RAIN ON ME

CHAPTER 10

It's been almost a week since everything happened. Noah had shown his appearance once but Alex beat the shit out of him.

I wonder what got him so worked up..

Sam and I made up, she even made me and Alexa cookies to make up. So ya!

I have become good friends with Samuel, he's pretty fun! And he likes someone I know...so we had a deal.

Vivian and Kabir certainly have something but that bitch won't spill the tea.

Like every other day I woke up to the shitty sound of the alarm and do my daily routine and also get Alexa ready.

Mental note, Alexa's birthday's coming up got to think of a gift...

I slide on a nude bell sleeves top and a black skirt fitting my curves at right places.

I apply some liner and mascara and lip balm to finish the look, brushing my hair to leave it open.

I dress Alexa in a white shirt and denim dungaree making her look even more adorable than she already looks.

Picking her up I take her downstairs and make her sit on the chair before proceeding to make breakfast.

I look at her drawing something while smiling.

" What are you drawing baby?" I ask her and she looks up at me with her doe eyes

" I was making Alex a card! For my birthday!!" She says smiling and I pull her cheeks

" That's really sweet baby!" I say looking at the drawing

I wonder if Alex would come...

" Mommy will you give this to Alex?" She asks me and I nod patting her head.

" What do you want for birthday?" I ask her and she acts like she's in deep thought making me chuckle at her cuteness.

" I want a daddy!" She says making me choke on air

" Uh..I ..baby I'll think about it ..hmm? Anything else?" I ask her and she pouts

" I wanted a daddy....she says looking down at her drawing" I sigh feeling bad for her

" Mommy will try okay?" I say and she looks at me with a smile nodding

" Anything else you give is always my best gift mommy!!" She says and I melt kissing her cheek before serving her the breakfast.

At the office

" Guys Alexa..." I say with a sigh and both of the girls look at me

" What's up dude? Why do you so frustrated?" Sam asks and I run a hand through my hair

" Alexa, it's...I asked her what she wants for birthday...and she said she wants a daddy.." I say and they both give me sympathetic looks

" So...what are you going to do?" Vivian asks me

" I don't know to be honest... offcourse I want Al to have a father who could love her but...I don't know if I'm ready or not.." I say and Sam sling her arm around me

" Cheer up girl! If you make faces like that finding a dad for her would be difficult" she says making us chuckle

" But even I think it's about time you should start dating girl! What you doing you're 28!!" Sam says and I groan
