RAIN ON ME

CHAPTER 13

We celebrate Alexa's birthday and as planned we proceed for the proposal.

Sam, Samuel and Alexa are with Vivian currently and I managed to sneak Kabir out.

Now I was supposed to go out with Alex.

We haven't spoken since the time he's here. I just ignore him walking ahead.

Alex's pov

Leona won't talk to me since the whole party and even now!

I sigh seeing her silently walk to the car before entering it.

I enter the car too, the whole drive was silent, she just won't talk.

We enter the store and collect the ring. That's it.

" Leona?" I call her and she looks at me

" What's wrong? Did I do something?" I ask

" No." She says briefly before entering the car.

I sigh in frustration following her. I start the car and look at her looking outside.

" Will you talk to me? Are you really going to ignore me?" I ask and she looks at me

" I didn't ignore you." She says

" Are you serious??!! I can clearly see that! Oh is it because of Daniel?" I ask her and she scoffs looking at me

" Why would you bring Daniel is this conversation, what does he have to do with any of this?" She says irritated

" Why are you upset now that I'm talking about him!" I say and she sighs annoyed

" What are you even talking about Alex, does that even make sense!!" She yells at me.

I grip tight on the steering wheels turning my knuckles white.

" I told you to not date him, didn't I? " I say and she looks at me scoffing

" Why do you care Alex? I'll date anyone I want." She says I run a hand through my hair frustrated.

" You can't Leona! You don't understand!! What if he plays you??!!" I yell making her flinch at my my sudden out burst and she looks at me with teary eyes making me feel guilty.

" Why the fuck do you care Alex! I'm smart enough to understand what's wrong and right for me! I'm not dumb! " She yells

" YOU'RE DUMB LEONA!! IF YOU WEREN'T YOU WOULDN'T HAVE FALLEN FOR NOAH IN THE FIRST PLACE!! CAN'T YOU JUST STOP BEING STUBBORN FOR ONCE AND LISTEN TO WHAT I'M SAYING!!" I yell at her in anger only to see a tear slide from her eye.

Shit.

I fucked up.

"Leo-"

" Stop the car." She says sternly. I sigh and lift my hand to touch but she flinches.

" Don't touch me Alex. Open the door right now." She says not sparing a glance at me.

" I can't do that Leona... did you forget about Viv-" I try changing the topic but she doesn't fall for it.

" Just take the ring and go back home, I'll be back." She says and I rest my head on the steering.

I open the door for her and she gets off without turning back.
