CHAPTER 6

Alex's pov

" What's wrong Leona???!!" I ask her and she looks at me with teary eyes, I take the paper from her hand and read it not believing my eyes..

" Guys please tell me.." Vivian says

" It's a letter for Alexa's custody....from Noah..." I say and see Vivian's eyes widen

" W...what..are you serious??!!!" She says and takes the letter

" What the fuck...Samaira is his lawyer??!!!" She says slamming it on the desk.

Upon hearing that I see everyone's eyes widen and look at her in disbelief

I look at Leona who runs hand through her hair in frustration before she gets
" Guys I need some time... I'll see you later .. Kabir-" she says looking at him

" I'll cover up for you don't worry" he says and she nods before turning to leave

Shit she shouldn't go alone

I follow her as she enters the lift and goes to the roof top but she doesn't say a thing.

I look at her walk towards the terrace

" Leona... don't be like this.." I say but she doesn't turn around

" Leona-" I say holding her hand but she removes it from my grip harshly and turns to me clutching my shirt with her hands.

I look at her face flushed with tears

" Leave me alone!!! Alex for god's sake!!!" She yells at me

" Look Leona....calm-"

" What the fuck calm down Alex!!?! It's because of you!! Why did you take me to that party!! WHY!!!" She screamed at me breaking down into a crying me.

"Didn't you say nothing will happen....then.. why.." says softly having no energy to speak, she hits my chest softly sobbing.

I cup her cheek with my hand and slide my other hand on her waist and she looks at me with a sad smile and tears streaming down her face.

" I said nothing will happen and I mean it Leo, I won't let Noah take Alexa away from you...I promise.." I say looking at her

" I don't... know.. Alex... it's.. it's... Al...and.. Sam..why..why would she do... that to me...we were like sisters Alex!! I thought of her as my sister....she was always there for..me.... then why.....why.. did...I d-do.. something wrong... she's not the Sam I know right?" She asks me with hopefull eyes breaking my heart.

" Look Leona...I don't know why Samaira is doing this...but now nothing can be done you need to be strong"

" WHAT??!!! NOO!!! I can't... Alex...she..she ... can't..she was never like that!!"

" Le-"

" No .." she pushes me with the little hands without any strength

" I'll go... I'll go talk to Sam...she can't-"

" Leona...shhh... please stop crying..." I say hugging her and she burries her face in my chest sobbing

" Leo!!!" I hear a voice yell and I see Vivian rushing towards us with teary eyes.

I break the hug and Vivian almost jumps on Leona hugging her

" Leo... I'll do it... I'll take you case ...and make sure Alexa stays with us" Vivian says patting her head

" Please do that...for me.. Viv.." Leona says breaking in her embrace
