RAIN ON ME

CHAPTER 16

After finishing the Breakfast Alex drops me at my place. I get off the car and so does he.

" Take care okay?" He says staring at me and I smile nodding.

" I will." I say and he nods, his face looked like he wanted to say something but didn't say it.

" Here." He says handing me a box and I look at it confused.

" Open it."  He says and I do as a gasp leaves my lips

" Alex! I can't take this!" I say looking at the phone that he gave me, he sighs at leans on the car.

" Take it Leona, I found your cracked phone." He says

" But still Alex, this phone costs a fortune-" he cuts me off by pecking my cheek.

I blink for a few times trying to process what just happened.

DID ALEX JUST KISS MY CHEEK??!!!!

I blush creeps on my face as I see him give me a toothy grin.

" You remember the last time I said I need to find ways to shut you up." He says and I look away embarrassed.

Damn it! I probably look like a tomato.

" Keep that, it's a way of making me feel less guilty about what happened to you."

" Alex you don't have to, it's not-" I was rambling when my eyes widen at the closer proximity between Alex and me.

I quickly cover my face with my hands and hear him chuckle.

" That's better." He says and and peek through my fingers to see him standing away with a huge eye smile.

"Fine! I'll take it! But you...you better not do that agai-" a squeal leaves my lips when he wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him.

" Do what Leona?" He asks and I look down embarrassed.

He swiftly uses his fingers to make me look at him.

Shit...I can feel my heart beat rising.

"..... Alex.. " I say embarrassed and he raises a brow at me.

" What's wrong Leona, Daniel and Sam do it all the time?" He says.

Offcourse they do idiot! But I don't feel the same when you do it!!

"I..n-need to go...I have to got with Daniel...later.." I say and he leaves me in at instant as I see his expression turn cold.
He walks towards the car door and mutters a small bye before leaving from there making me stand there in confusion.

" What's wrong with him...." I mutter as I open the door to my house before entering in.

Daniel's pov

I got a call from Alex that he want's to talk with me about something so I was currently heading to his office.

I open the door to see Alex seated on the couch.

" Hey man." I say and look at him signal me to come in.

" What did you want to talk about?" I ask and sit down next to him.

" You're taking Leona with you to the party?" He asks.

Aaah Leona it is ...

"Yeah, why?" I ask and his expression changes to a irritated one.
