"Lunch!" Teana's mom called. "What's for today?" Teana asked. "Bunny, sweetie," she replied. "Bunny again?!" Teana asked as her mom nodded. She thought the same thing, but didn't have the mood to say it, it would be rude. They came to the kitchen. " Wash your hands honey, Nina too!" "Yes, mom." Teana and Nina washed there hands, one by one. Then speeding off to their seat. Everything else was the same, same portion Teana's dad gave to Teana, same food, with the corn and mashed potatoes, which made Nina not so pleased, but didn't really mind. They gave the best part to Teana and they said "Here, this is for you." And received the bunny's butt and eyes. "Yuck!" she said quietly. Teana's father gave a smile that exploded into laughter. That was rude. "Sorry," Teana kept saying to Nina. They did the homework last again after reading for 3 hours, until it was dinner. Nina was starving. She couldn't stop feeling upset. "Nina?" Teana asked. She turned around. "Are you...OK?" Teana asked. "Yup," Nina said, feeling a bit guilty. She checked her phone again, no message and no answer from her parents. Tomorrow is almost the middle of the week, she thought of even calling them, but then they would think that it's an emergency. "Why don't you come and eat?" Teana said. "Lunchhhh!" Teana's father shouted. "I-er-sure." Nina said. "It's your birthday." Teana said. "How come?" Teana rolled her eyes and said "I'm not joking." "Oh, well, that's great." Nina said harshly. No presents, a dinner with them being rude again, except Teana, no family to celebrate or even give signs of them missing her and n- "I have a surprise for you." Teana said. Nina took some of it back feeling guilty.

Teana wrapped her eyes with a blindfold. "Sorry Nina, I forgot until it was dinner. Well, we did have some fun," Teana said, dragging Nina carefully to the kitchen. "Ya, you're a great friend," "Thanks!" Teana said back. The kitchen was so tidy, the fridge was at the back on the right, with some shelves for storage and a long table for cooking homemade goods. An oven was indicated on the opposite side of the fridge. A giant table was in the middle with 6 lights on the ceiling pointing in different directions. There were windows on either side of the walls, but it was dark outside, so you can't see much. Teana took the blindfold off Nina, permitting her to see. "I made dinner!" Teana said. There were crackers with cheese, 3 cheese sandwiches, 4 glasses of milk and 6 meat burgers, all the same size surrounding a cheesecake. It wasn't what she expected, but she really didn't expect anything, but it was thoughtful. "You're an indispensable friend!" Teana said. Both of her parents smiled, "Well, happy birthday," they said. "I like cheese," Teana added. "I see, T-nip," Nina said and patted her on the back. Teana's dad blew a few balloons and set them on the corners of the table. "Use some strong tape," Teana suggested to her dad. "Ya, they would stay put, that way," Teana's dad said. Teana's mom served some food to all of them. "Thanks Teana!" Nina said brightly. Which made Teana glow. "It's great!" Nina said. As there parents shined brightly to Teana. "Thank you! It's the "Only for Nina Muom Cafe!" Teana said with a smile. They ate and laughed along, the sang a few birthday songs, soon dinner was over. "You guys have to sleep in a bit, not now because you just ate," Teana's mom said. Teana and Nina rushed to Nina's room. "Want a magic trick?" Teana asked. "No, thanks," Nina said. "You know what guys, why don't you take a bath, brush your teeth-" "Mom! Can't we play for a bit?" Teana said. "-and change your clothes first because that'll take some time." Teana's mom continued. Teana growled at her mom and stormed to her bathroom. "Good night then," Nina said and rushed to her bathroom too.
