The door flung open. A boy? Teana and Nina groaned. "Well, if it's sales then no, but otherwise, what do you want?" said Teana's dad. "Sorry, sir," the boy replied. "What do you want?" yelled Teana's dad. Teana's mom rushed to him, patting him on the back. "Shhhh," she whispered. Teana's dad looked at the boy, he looked about the same age as Nina. "Er, sorry." "It's ok, sir," the boy said. "Anyways, there's a lost dog, um, I was wondering if you saw a dog like this," the boy continued, handing a small picture of the dog. "Your dog?" Teana's dad asked. "No, a girlfriend of mine," the boy replied. Teana and Nina made ouing noises behind, at the kitchen table. "It was brown curly fur," the boy continued. That's when Nina turned around. "Don't be silly, it's not her dog," Nina whispered under her breath. "Well, no, we haven't, so sho-" Teana's dad said. "Oh, no, sorry about that," Teana's mom said sweetly. That's the difference between Teana's parents, one of them is mean to strangers, the other one is nice to them. Teana's dad slammed the door, leaving the boy, face-to-face with their flushed door. "Let's eat," said Teana's dad. "Ok, but didn't you polish that flushed door yesterday night? When we were asleep?" Teana asked. "Um, yes, you were supposed to sleep though," Teana's dad grinned. Teana looked ashamed. "Well, your mom wanted a new door, the  Poly Vinyl Chloride one, so I decided to make it look new," he said. Teana's mom nodded. "Oh, no, I have hiccups!" Teana said shaking. "How come?" Teana's mom asked, "plus, it's not seriou-" Teana looked at her and sqinted her eyes. "Because I ate and talked," she said slowly, "which equal hiccups." Nina giggled, then stopped. "True, let's eat," Teana's mom said. "We're alrea-" and Teana stopped. They began to eat again.  They all ate the avocado like an apple, spitting the giant seed out. "Mmm," said Nina. "Fresh right?" asked Teana's dad. Nina nodded. "Finished," Teana whispered to Nina, urging her to rush. Nina nodded once again, eat the last bits of the avocado. Teana's parents were finished too, at the same time as Nina. "Well, you guys could go," said Teana's mom. Teana pulled Nina out of the kitchen. "Ouch!" exclaimed Nina. "Oh, sorry," said Teana. She was pulling her to hard. "I could walk," she said. "Right, sorry Nina." "After all, it's the middle of the week, how are your parent-?" Teana continued. "Oh! Wait, sorry, um, I'll check, just a sec," Nina said and rushed to her bedroom. "It's the middle of the week! They might reply! Eeek!" Nina murmured excitedly. She picked up her phone, typing the password and went to the chat, she might as well turn the ringtone on- *Dinggg~
