Chapter 6 - Chats

       She sat down on the bed, there were two small shelves on either side and a closet in front of the bed. It wasn't a beautiful view, but that was alright. A small desk was located in the left corner of the room with a chair. There were lots of gaps and space in this tiny room to put anything else you wanted, since this is a guest room. She hugged her stuffies she brought on the way here. As she puts her head on her pillow, wrapping up in the same blanket. She brought her phone out from her pocket, checking for a new message from her parents, some other friends were chatting on hangouts, like the group chat "BaaI'masheep" which meant *Baa I'm a sheep.  Teana and Nina were in that group chat too and Emi, a friend of Nina's from school, Luna, a girl who was a partner of Teana or Nina everytime in a project at school. She's a bit bossy, she has light brown curly long hair, usually down and green rare eyes which makes her the boss of the gang at school, Nina really wanted to delete her from the chat, but if they work together again, then their relationship won't work and they would probably hate working together. She put her phone away, on one of the selves. "Aaa, 11:00!" Nina said and went fast asleep.

The light was coming through the gaps of the window in Nina's guest room/bedroom. She jerked her head up. She yanked her blanket away and got up. *Ding *Ding *Ding That's usually the sound of a new message on hangouts. Grabbing her phone, carefully and checking the hangouts. "No new message from mum or dad, it was just Luna." She sighed. She turned the ringtone on because it was almost the middle of the week, at 12:00 tomorrow it would be the middle of the week, but they usually text today. "Maybe...they're just in different timezones." Nina said with a shrug. *Ding *Ding *Ding *Ding "Urgh!" Nina said, it was Luna again, spamming emojis. Will you stop it! Nina typed back. *Ding No, Luna typed. *Ding, Nina looked back at the chat. Could Cinnea join? Nina read the message from Luna. Yes, but she'll invite Leo. Nina typed. Leo is a boy Nina hates, but he gives ice cream to people, so Cinnea would love one, since Leo wanted to talk to Cinnea, yuck! *Ding, Fine, wrote Luna. Nina turned the ringtone off, expecting to get a message from her parents tomorrow. Luna left, showing a ghost effect on her icon. Nina turned the ringtone back on. And went to the bathroom. Brushing her hair, then her teeth and rushed to the kitchen. Teana was already there. "Ha! First!" "What took you so long?" Teana continued. "Luna." Nina said with a growl. "Is she asking if she could invite Cinnea?" Teana said with a nod. "Ya- How did you know?" Nina asked. "She asked me too, Nina." "Ohh. And you said no?" "Well, I said to ask you." Teana said and turned around, facing her dad. "Eggs?" "No, chicken." Teana's dad said. "For breakfast?" Teana asked. "Your mom wanted it, sweetie." Teana's mom came rushing by, washing her hands as usual. "Laundry again?!" Teana asked. "Yes." She answered. Teana's mom served the chicken this time, after she finished cleaning her hands. "Chicken leg's the best part and that's for m-" "Hey! Mom, no fair!" Teana said. "I'm kidding, it's for you, the other ones for dad, I'll eat the breast and -er- Nina could eat the head? And a bit of the tummy too." Teana's mom said as she gave each piece to each person. "I was kidding, you could have it." Teana said. "Nah, you could have it." She said. "Could I have a glass of water? And good morning." Nina asked. "Sure! And same to you!" Teana's mom said. "GM!" Teana said facing Nina. They finished breakfast soon enough, putting their dishes towards the sink. "You guys could play n- Did you brush your teet-" "Yes, mom, I did!" Teana said, as they both rushed out of the kitchen. "Your room this time." Teana said. "I mean, you know, the guest room." Teana continued. And they rushed out again. *Ding~ They pointed to the direction the sound was coming from. *Ding *Ding *Ding *Dingggg~ "Ohhhh! Urgh! My ph-" "Here, Nina." Teana said. "Thanks." Nina said turning the ringtone off. Then, there was a slight feel of excitement that made her grab her phone and check the chat, maybe her parents were texting her.
