Nina's parents have to go away for a week. They say it's for an important meeting, which requires a flight to New York. But until she waited two weeks crying on her bed, alone, can she find her parents? Can she know the truth? It can't get any worse...
They kept licking their ice-cream until, there was only ice-cream left in the cone. "Guys better come back in, it's getting dark." Teana's mom shouted out the window. "We're not finished!" shouted Teana. "Eat inside, then." "Alright, mum." Teana said. And they both nodded going back inside. They soon finished all their ice-cream as they finished the cone too. "I want more ice-cream." Teana said nodding like a puppy. Teana kept screaming for ice-cream. "Look, Nina's not even doing tha-" "Well, mum, I just wan-" "Don't shout like that to your mother!" Teana's dad said. "I'm not shouting, I'm screaming, you get it, ice-scream?" Teana said giggling. "Nice pun," Nina said, giving a thumbs-up. It was clear that Teana's parents didn't get it, so Teana stopped laughing. She sighed. "Guys, time to sleep. Tomorrow's Thursday," her parents told them. "Good night." Teana told them. "Same to you guys!" Nina said. They went out of sight, going to their bedrooms, but Teana's dad went to the door. Teana saw that too, she shrugged and followed his dad, silently to the door. Tomorrow was the middle of the week, Nina thought, she ought to get a reply from her parents! She checked her phone, one last time today. Luna wasn't there, but Cinnea and Em- What?! Cinnea?! Nina went back to the older messages, Emi said sure, then underneath Luna wrote, to invite Cinnea? Ok, Emi replied before. She turned her ringtone on. *Dinggg~ She scrolled down, Cinnea sent a picture of a cute puppy. "Awwwww, that's so cute!" Nina said. Is that your puppy? Nina typed. *Dinggg~ Yes! He's name is Apricot, a brown curly doggo! Cinnea typed. Awwww! He's on your couch right? Nina typed, joyful that Cinnea joined. *Ding *Ding *Dinggg~ Cinnea sent a few more pictures of Apricot. "She's not that bad I gue-" *Dinggg~ Cinnea invited Leo. Nina regrets thinking about that.

"Good night, Nina!" Teana called from outside the door. Nina forgot how much time she used, chatting with Cinnea. She quickly turned her phone off, ringtone too and rushed to her bathroom, changing into PJs and brushing her teeth. "Good night!" Nina called back as soon as she was finished, walking to her bed and pulling the planets to her chin. Teana wasn't there to hear her say it, but she did anyways. Nina drifted off to sleep on her back. "Ouch-?" Nina's bun, that she hasn't took off was making her uncomfortable, so she pulled the elastic of carefully and placed it on the nearest shelf. And drifted off to sleep once again. Lights were out.
