"This looks nice!" "Mum! Don't shout, Nina's sleepin-" "Sorry, honey-" "Too much salt, mum!" "Don't worry Teana, your mother will throw it out." Nina heard all those noises from the kitchen, she jerked her head up, opening her eyes by an inch, then opening her eyes fully, enough to see the surroundings. She brushed her teeth in the bathroom, washing her face and brushing her hair too. She tied a high ponytail. "Now, sit quickly, ok honey?" "Yes, mum." Nina heard again. Her bun sit still on the top of her head as she walked in the kitchen. "Hey Teana!" Nina said from around the corner of the kitchen. They turned there heads, finding Nina. "Heyyy!" Teana replied. "What's this?" "Not to sound rude." Nina added in a small tone." "Not at all! It's avocados again!" Teana's mom said brightly, it was clear she was in a great mood. "Why would you put salt?" Nina said in a softer tone. Teana turned to her mom, giving her a furious look. "See?! She heard us." Teana growled. "Well, we are making something special, avocado, but as a dessert." Teana's dad said. "Plus it's a late morning, so we want to make it simple and easy," He added. Nina nodded. "It's only 9:30 am dad," groaned Teana. "Yes, but we eat at 6:30 am," replied Teana's dad. Nina opened her eyes very wide. "Well, that's the earliest, usually at 7:45, he just wants me to look like a moron saying "early" at this time," Teana whispered to Nina. "Guys, let's get eating," said Teana's dad. "it smells fresh-?" *Ding dong "A doorbell?" asked Teana. Teana's dad nodded, then rushed to the door. "If you need any help, you could te-?" said Teana's mom. Nina and Teana were peaking at the door. "You guys eat," Teana's mom said pointing towards them. Teana's dad pulled the door open. This reminded Nina of her parents, it's finally the middle of the week after all.
