Chapter 7 - Books

       No, it was just the "BaaI'masheep" chat. She felt the frustration rise in her chest as she turned the ringtone off, but then, as she felt calmer, she felt the heebie-jeebies more than usual. Teana was watching her carefully. "Au..." Nina started. "Wanna read?" Teana asked. "Hm...sure!" Nina said. She looked at the chat again. Luna changed the group name to be "CanCinneaJoin,PLEASE!♥☺☻" No, Nina typed and put her phone away. "Sorry." Nina said. "It's ok, I'm on chapter 7, it's so good!" Teana said. "Cool! Yesterday, I read 3 chapters, so I'm on chapter 4, you already read this book right?" Nina asked. "Yup!" She replied. "Aw, cool! Floyd hates Ron right?" Nina asked. "Well, not reall-" Teana said and covered her mouth with her hands. "I really don't mind if you spoil it." She said. Teana smiled then went back to her book. 3 hours passed. "Lunchhhhh!" Teana's mom shouted. "Aw, mom, can't we read a bit m-" "No, dad made some fabulous food for you guys!" Teana's mom shouted back. They ran to the kitchen. "Sushi!" Teana said with a half scream, half shout. Nina was so relieved, they ate sushi at a restaurant before. "Yum!" Nina said. "Well, it's his first try." Teana's mom said. There were 24 pieces of sushi with avocado, cucumbers and carrots. And a small plate with soy sauce. "Well, everyone could have 6 pieces, unless you want more Teana, Nina could give it to you." Teana's dad said. "No, 6 is good enough." Teana said. Nina nodded. "Washed your hands?" Teana's mom asked and Teana followed by Nina went to the sink, scrubbing their hands. They went back to their seats. Teana's mom served 6 sushis for each person. Nina pick-up a sushi, bringing it to her mouth, she chewed as the taste of the sushi filled her mouth and the delicious aroma filled her nostrils. Teana did the same, but dipped her's in soy sauce. "Watched a video on how to make this." Teana's dad said. "You nailed it." Teana's mom said. Nina and Teana nodded. Teana's dad and mom ate the sushi very fast licking the last bits on the plate. Nina was the last one to finish, eating each piece slowly. They looked at Nina, drooling, so Nina gulped down the rest of her sushis too. "You guys could go do your thing, I'll wash the dishes." Teana's mom said. "Continue reading?" Teana asked. "Ya!" Nina replied. They walked pass the kitchen, then began running to Teana's room. "Careful, the staires."Nina said, Teana nodded. There books were still on the ground. They sat comfortably and focused on their books. Many hours passed by. "Wow, you're quiet, why don't you be active, gir-?" "Mom!" Teana shouted. "Gir-?" "Fine." Teana said. They went outside until it was dinner.
