i woke up against a squishy pillow, smushing in my face. opening my eyes, then squinting from the light, seeing a familiar but foreign room. i'm on one side of the bed, facing a wall, seeing some art on the walls along with a side table. i was taking in the room, about to turn on my back, when i finally feel an arm weighing around my waist.

at this point, i'm thinking that i've been kidnapped, or held hostage. though i don't know why they'd have an arm around my waist. i flip around and see ruel's face, eyes closed, mouth slightly open. he does look very cute, and i take this time to look some more around this room.

as i'm taking a look around his room, i feel him stir beside me. after a couple minutes of him stirring, he groggily opens his eyes. he blinked hard a couple times, and then pulled his arm from my waist, scurrying away to the other side of the bed.

"fuck, i'm so so sorry, sky" he says, hands pulling at his hair. i can't tell what he's feeling, but i give him an empathetic smile.

"don't worry, bud, i didn't mind" and he flops back down on the bed, laying back with a big sigh.

"oh shit, sorry ruel, but i think i have to go home" i say with a frown, just wishing we could spend more time together. i start lifting the covers, and getting out of the bed, seeing him with a smile on his face.

"what?" i say with a laugh nervously. he just continues to look at me with a smile.

"nothing, here let me walk you out" he says also getting up. i laugh to myself, noticing how we both are still wearing the clothes from last night.

when we get outside, and to my car, "can't wait to see you next week", he says leaning on my car.

"yeah, until next week" i say going to give him a hug. most of the nerves i used to get around have subsided, going for the hug, knowing he'll return it. "bye, ruel"

"see you sky" he yells out walking back to his house.

making my way up the steps to my house, a dumb toothy grin across my face. going back to my room, and laying over the entirety of the bed, completely sprawled out. relaxing, slightly smelling her vanilla sent on one of my pillows, until i hear a ding.

but this moment, i realized that i've been keeping sky in the dark about my life. she doesn't know about the fans, tour, basically my entire life. i started to think, rapid fire, as usual.
