→sky's pov←

"okay, so you're going to take a right... now a left, and in a little you're going to take a final right" ruel says, gesturing with his hand where to go. i follow his directions, trying to take in the surroundings, but this is a part of the city i've never been to.

when we started driving i handed ruel my phone, to play some music. "the password is 0929" i speak out and i see him type in the password.

"do you just give your password to anyone?" he chuckles going to spotify on my phone. out of the corner of my eye i see him scrolling through some playlist.

I laugh at his response, "no i don't give it to everyone, but there's nothing to hide, so most of my friends know what it is" i say glancing at him, "it's pretty easy to figure out, though"

he hums out, "so, what does your password mean?" he says turning towards me, yet his eyes are still on the phone.

"it's my birthday" i chuckle out, "september 29"

"wow your birthday is a month before mine" he says with a smirk, still scrolling through my playlists. "you like the beatles?"

"love" i correct him.

finally, i see him tap on a song, then hear it finally play throughout the speakers. the guitar from the intro starts playing, and i hum along with it. then i sing along with the lyrics, "here comes the sun, do-do-do-do, here comes the sun and i say..."

i can feel ruel's stare towards me, "you have a really good singing voice" he speaks out. at his response i laugh out, shaking my head.

"no i don't, but i'd love to hear yours.." i say hinting for him to sing out.

he takes a deep breath and starts singing, and my jaw drops open with shock. "what do you mean! it's like you're a singer or something" i joke out and he stops and freezes.

"wait, are you okay? what just happened" i say with worry, looking towards him.

"n-nothing, nothing i'm good" he says bringing a smile back out, looking at me reassuring me.

→ruel's pov←

"... it's like you're a singer or something" she laughs at the end. i know she's joking, but i can't help but freeze up and stop singing. she looks back at me with concerned eyes. 

she asks me if i'm ok, and what happened, and i try to cover up my concerned face. i put out a smile, and realize we're almost at our destination. i thought that it might be too soon to eat again, so i brought her to another place, first.

"okay, you're going to pull-up here, and park" i say pointing my finger towards the curb.

she pulls up at the curb unplugging her phone and opening the car door, "c'mon let's go" she says with a smile.

ducking my head to get out of the car, looking at the childhood park i brought us too. "what? this is where we get to go!" she exclaims excitedly, jumping around. i gesture for her to run to the playground, and she's off.

she runs super fast, and i end up chasing her up and down the structures, eventually settling on the swings. we push back and forth with our feet on the tanbark. "are you hungry?" i say out, and all she does is nod her head excitedly.

"c'mon let's go! i know where we're gonna eat, sky" i say holding my hand out for her. gladly, she takes it and hops up from her swing. we go back to her car and i start telling her directions once again. 

"what should i play now?" i say and look over at her, all she does is shrug her shoulders and gestures for me to choose.

tapping the song of choice, and we hear the music surrounding us. sky gasps out putting her hand out and on my chest, "you've got to be kidding me!" she says freaking out. "you like this song!" and i nod, "no way!"

i watch her sway around to the music, wolves by one direction playing through the speakers, and we both start singing to the lyrics. "i hear them calling for you..." she sings out, and i can't help but stare.

"ruel! i need directions!" she snaps me out of my daze, then continuing the lyrics, "i know, i know, i knowww" she drags out the last note.

i laugh out at her, then pointing her in the direction of the restaurant. "one by one, i take them down, we can run and hide, ain't goin' down without a fight" we both scream in sync.

us both laughing through it all.
